Home at last, and I can now tell you all where I have been. Just spent a week in Turkey. 2 years ago I set up a FB page to free 2 dolphins that were in a pool smaller than a tennis court. It has been a long journey. On Thursday I was very privileged to see Tom and Misha swim to freedom, back to the blue.
    This is the back story.

I can confirm that the new Price Flop Codes can be stacked online! Which means it's highly likely that they will work instore too! :j

An example....fresh citrus fruit £1 off wys £3 and Fresh apples & pears £1 off wys £3 both work with Fresh Fruit (excl frozen and dried and nuts) £1 off wys £5.

    :D

    Same with the vegetable ones.

well done karlie and locarr, geniuses as always:T:T:T:A:A

even cooler if we can use them on loads of whoospies, even more value for money:j:j

well don't know why but succumbed to a whoospie run after kids swimming class, thought i would be too late but managed
    3 watermelons 60p each,
stacks of lovely jersey potatoes 15p each,
    5 innocent smoothie cartons 55p,
couple of salmon double multibuy kicked in :j
meal deal size coleslaw tubs 19p

also 10 welch juice (only pink packs in my store but just tried it and it is GORGEOUS!)

10 blue diamond nuts wasabi and soy sauce flavour is def scanning at 49p, big piles of them on top shelf with cling film and sticker saying discontinued but went to SS and coupons wouldn't scan, told SA I wanted to put them back but she was too dopey to know how to cancel them and it would have taken me under my #50 spend for fuel voucher so i said don't worry I'll sort it out at CS -where the very nice trout took the coupons and gave me the cash no problemo:T:T plus i kept my fuel voucher yay!!!

    also:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

went all the way to shefd this wk on the easter hunt and nothing:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
didn't even bother going to my own local extra for 1p easter sweets as all the other locals have been lurkered and I spotted a local lurker on the 1p thread:wave:
well can't believe it seems he must have missed this store!!!! :j:j:j:j:j

    got 17 lindt bags
5 packs heartthrobs (not veggie so will take to work)

i know it's not in the same league you guys are in but was soooo lovely to see some 1p items in my local and then not to get trouted at SS with them-and i'm easily pleased:D:D :A:A:A

ooh yes also had several conditional spend vouchers, bought an item of clothing that will ahem be unsuitable for return tomorrow, so my haul only cost a few pence

Forgot to say I got a 1p easter egg at my local tonight, seasonal aisle was empty of shoppers so tried to look underneath the shelves. Spied 2 but could only reach one. :rotfl:

So if anyone is brave enough, has longer arms than me and in need of a 1p Mr Men egg and shops locally to me PM me for further details. :D

Ta, I think one of my store's did have them in (Locarr got one) but they must have been lurkered.. only black ones there now and no SEL for the white ones. Seriously i know of 3 people nr me and we all pm each other for findings, but there is no way some of the things can disappear so fast. I'm pretty much in the middle of 3 big extras within a 5 min drive so how i don't manage to get some things is a mystery (well it's not a mystery but YKWIM.)
    Rant over. :rotfl:

I'm a body double for Claudia Schiffer and i wont get out of bed for less than [STRIKE]£10k per day[/STRIKE] a 1p find

OK so I have done some experimenting...:D

How about this for a hypothetical shop?

    1 x Flora Buttery 1Kg
4 x Fresh And Naked Mixed Little Leaves 90G
1kg x Counter Pork Boneless Leg
    2 x Braeburn Apple Pack
    3 x Sliced Mushrooms 250G
3 x Tesco Everyday Value Broccoli Catchweight
    3 x Tesco Parsnips Pack 600G
    2 x Tesco Organic Raspberry
6 x Tesco Everyday Value Orange Pack
    2 x Tesco Unbleached Non-Stick Baking Paper 8M
    1 x Smartt Plastic Food Containers Tubz (650Ml) 8Pk
3 x Tesco Strawberry And Vanilla Jumbo Swiss Roll
    8 x Single Panini
    4 x Tesco Caramella 270Ml

    TOTAL - £45.48

Then add £4.52+ worth of groceries that you need to get the total to £50ish.

The above shop used the following price flop promos:

Cakes ( excl chilled) £1 off wys £3
Fresh salads £1 off wys £4
Fresh Bakery £1 off wys £3
    Foils,Trays,Cling Film,Food & Freezer Bags ( Excl value range) £1 off wys £4
Ice cream & Lollies £2 off wys £6
Flora Spread £1 off wys £3
Fresh Berries £1 off wys £4
Fresh citrus fruit £1 off wys
Fresh Fruit (excl frozen and dried and nuts) £1 off wys £5
Root Vegetables & Onions £1 off wys £3
Freah apples & pears £1 off wys £3
    Fresh cauliflower,cabbage,sprouts & broccoli £1 off wys £3
Fresh mushrooms £1 off wys £3
Fresh vegetables £1 off wys £4
Meat Counter £2 off wys £7

    SO........

.....total £50ish then add £2 for collection or £3 for delivery.

Deduct £17 for price flop coupons.
Deduct £10 for being a new customer ;) and spending £50 or more.
Deduct £5 for cashback via Quidco

    TOTAL £18ish plus collection/delivery price.

    :j:j:j:j:j:j:j

Remember that offers will change in a few days, so there will be more offers that we can experiment with. The online price flop coupons take into account the price of the item before any special offer deductions. Let's hope for some good BOGOF offers!

I just did the above in 30 minutes or so....think it's a pretty decent shop for £18. :D

ahh, and no kosher section in my local
    :rotfl:

how do we find out which stores sell kosher
do you think Ho would know??

ooh, me too. This price flop may actually be for something healthy for a change - and for something that we all do spend money on regardless. Is it sad that I'm excited about it? :j

i am but i'm not, was hoping (and so were my fridge/freezer/pantry/kitchen cupboards etc) for a bit of a breather, have had to remove a zillion whoospied tomatoes from the second fridge to make space for the 10 tropicana, 10 wenches and 5 innocent cartons, when we are going to drink all of that lot i have no idea.

Sometimes I wonder if T's know what they are doing enticing us into their stores with all these glitches :o

  • evening all.

Not been on much last 24 hours, as I've been pretty bad lately:( after weeks on doing okay and feeling good I took a turn for the worst the other night. And plan on seeing the doctor sometime next week (hopefully monday)

hope everybody is getting 1p chocolates!

Been to tesco a lot though (to ease the pain:o) the only bargain I got was gillette razor limited edition (England one) for... £2! Not sure if it's been posted or not.

Oh and finally picked up a tesco mag! so thanks to all who offered to send me the coupons! much appreciated!

The new price flop mag looks amazing! so hopefully that will boost my mood next week.

Thanks TS nice to know I didn't imagine it! I did look at a couple of boxes today actually as I seen some without the offer on the box, but didn't really know what I was looking for! Shall need to study the boxes again next time I'm in and see if I can spot it!

Well I have had them in my cupboard since last year and can say I would never have noticed it. It is very obscure. Was only because I checked my mum's that I bought recently for 49p as didn't realise until couple weeks after that it was not just any old clearance section in the store I visited but their Kosher clearance. Explains why I found a random strawberry jam there, has a "K" on it too. ;)

    Evening all
I've not been around this week as I've not been too good. Had two falls and am now sporting some lovely bruises :o
Not been to T's for nearly 2 weeks so still no socks and now no chocolates either.
I'm seeing my GP again on Monday to discuss further treatment, but also the possibility I might need to think about not driving if the vertigo attacks don't decrease :(

This will mean I'll be virtually housebound during the day as the village bus service is virtually non existent.
It will also put an end to any trips to T's (or anywhere else for that matter) unless my OH takes me, so I'm really hoping there is still something else I can try....but I know we are running out of options, so might just have to face up to this being as good as it gets :(
I'm feeling really peed off and a bit sorry for myself at the moment, which is why I've not posted lately, but have been lurking to keep up with the gossip and have loved all the stash photo's :T and Snap ant's socks pose :D
Great to see HC's back home
Hugs to those who need them, Congrats to those who deserve them.....and welcome to all the newbies :)
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.
  • Very impressive Karlie! :D
