Just a quick note before I try to catch up.
Had to share this with you, popped into T on the way to visit some friends today, needed to get a gift bag for his pressie and found a gift bag that said " Warning may contain socks!" Had to laugh, I have sadly not been able to get any 4p socks but if you have might be just the thing for a gift. although the bag was £1.47 !!!!!

On another note T's Value baby shampoo is only 9p and baby lotion is 11p. Baby shampoo may be good as handwash for anyone that does not have a stock of Palmolive. Just tried the baby lotion and it is quite nice.
When I grow old, I dont want people thinking "what a sweet old lady" I want them to think
"oh carp what is she up to now!"

We used to have these flying over where we lived when I was younger and they used to scare the heck out of me, I used to crouch down with my hands over my ears if I was outside and scream for my mum! :o

Seeing that picture has actually made me feel quite scared! :o:rotfl: Bit like seeing wind turbines, it un-nerves me for some bizzarre reason! And the severn bridge! Yes, I am odd! :rotfl:

They scared me the first time I heard them because they are so loud;)
    Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:

We live not far from Northolt airport and the last few days have been hearing planes going over all times of the day and night and just realised why after looking on the BBC website:oNow everytime we hear it we're running out to have a look, they are amazing:T

Royal Air Force Typhoon jets have arrived at an airbase in London for a large-scale Olympic security exercise.

The aircraft will be based at RAF Northolt, taking part in eight days of training over London and the home counties until 10 May, as part of operation Exercise Olympic Guardian.

It is the first time fighter jets have been stationed at the west London site since WWII

Thats the road we drive down to get to T's:eek::eek::eek::eek:

Last Saturday oh and I went to London to move our son and his gf to a new flat. We were very interested in the old building opposite which used to be the Bryant and May match factory which was famous for a strike last century. Next morning we switched on the news to see the very same factory , which is now a block of swish flats , is where the anti aircraft missiles will be based over the Olympics. Then a few minutes later walking along the road behind the newsreader appears our son and his gf!

No honestly it wasn't that bad I just worked on piece of kitchen roll on the ironing board (of all places). The instructions in the packs were pretty useless ... I followed a link someone posted on here.

Let me have a search. brb

How do I know if my inks can be refilled, is there a list anywhere? I have an epson sx425w.

I love wind turbines, i think they look fab

Being on a motorbike on either of the severn crossings when its windy and rainy (as it so often is around here) is pretty scary stuff

We were on there the other week with the terrible weather and that was bad enough in the car!
It's not so much the height or wind or what not that scares me, it's the structure - it looks so huge and daunting! Never bothered me before but freaked me out this time! :o

Nikki, I'd be hibernating if I lived near you

Hello all! A gorgeous day in South Wales , I do believe tomorrow's weather is supposed to be  so I took the opportunity to do a little more wombling today :D

I left it quite late so I just got to 2 Mr A's before closing , the first I bought some Mr A milkshake mixes and was sadly overcharged on one

Only by 21p but hey all is good because Mr A give you a £2 giftcard if they overcharge you so I was better off than if it happened in T's!:T It was a Mr A Vanilla Milkshake mix 350g, sel of £1.28 and went through at £1.49, hope someone else can get it too! And I paid for it with a wombled APG too!:rotfl:

I wombled a few more receipts too :T 5 I put in today, 4 with nothing and the last one with £2.50:T , 5 more to input tomorrow.

I had a trauma getting one of my receipts, it was stuck between a load of trolleys all linked together:mad: but looked HUGE so took me ages to work out which trolley to put my £1 in so I could shuffle them apart and get to it...this was right by the entrance too! I got it in the end though, Christ knows what anyone who saw me was thinking! Then I walked in and picked up another one right in the entrance, I was past caring what I looked like then!!

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

No mispriced milkshake mix in the 2nd A's but bought some ice cream cones for £1 and paid with 3 APG's for 12p,16p and 72p...total to pay - £0.00! I did need more ice cream!

Hope everyone is having a nice sunny day!

Have you ever considered counselling? :rotfl::rotfl:

**FK hopes redfox won't remove this as medical advice**

Thats the road we drive down to get to T's:eek::eek::eek::eek:

They come in lower than that at RAF Waddington and numerous pailings have been replaced in the 5ft tall fence!

Standing right on the centre line as they come in to land literally 10 feet above your head is quite an experience. :T

Brize Norton is another one to be at when the C17's are doing tactical night landing practice. They are HUGE and pass the perimiter fence at about 50ft with no navigation lights on as the pilots train wearing night vision goggles. Thats a good buzz too :)

Number 1 experience though has to be the top end of Fairford with a fully fuelled and bombed up B1 giving it everything to get off the deck. Never heard or felt anything like it in my life!
