Really must try to get off to bed as had a harrowing day supporting a relative who is about to be evicted from her family (council) home.
We spent a good few hours at the local council and a good few tears but they will not budge as it may set a precedent.
Such a shame as their family home for 37 years.
Anyway sorry for the rant, hope all get plenty of rest ready for the T rewards we all deserve.
wendyak have you contacted your local MP? Worth a try.Hope is not a strategy.0 -

No worries, I'm pottering about trying to make some semblance of order of all my photos......its a task I've been meaning to tackle for agrs but a task thats gonna take weeks and weeks to do so been putting it off.
A bit of dutch courage and I've at least started it. The Italian in me will soon have me retreating from the the task

Evening all' just caught up......love to the 3dogs family and hugs to all.
Re the Tesco guy, I think there is an element of truth in what he says as I have lingered on a sunday well after closing and watched a few staff appear with things that never made the reduction shelf but are dirt cheap.
In the meat dept I have seen one lady throwing items under her trolley and when challenged she said it was waste but I wasn't convinced and she growls at me now!!
My electrical dept was the worst as they openely admitted they had spent days scanning the entire contents of the stock room during the mad price reductions last year.
The manager of that department said that if there had been anything cheap the staff would have had it already and laughed!!

Social housing. Seems to be a case of he who shouts loudest and longest gets what they want/need. Do the honourable/British thing and wait your turn quietly and you remain a dusty file in a cupboard.
I hope your relative gets a favourable outcome.......shout for it!0 -
