Evening all
I got a surprise visitor this morning at my new house.
The front door was rapped so loudly and hard that I thought it was about to be put through.
Both myself and my Mum looked at each other before going down stairs to see who it was. The guy there pulled a hand held thing like delivery guys use so I had to think had I ordered something to the new address and forgot about it, no I knew I hadn't so started to wonder who this mysterious guy was
He then pulled out an ID and asked me had I got a valid TV licence  :eek::eek:
I told him I'd just got the keys on Friday and as yet had no TV on the property and he was welcome to have a look around to see for himself, he declined. He asked was I the new tennant and when did I think I would have a TV in because he could arrange for someone to call and sort out payment. I just told him that I would be paying by DD and would set it up online when I had my TV delivered. He didn't seem happy with that so told him that was how I'd always paid and wouldn't be changing to any other method. He made a note on the hand held thing and said goodbye.
I just couldn't believe that they were there so soon after I'd moved in but did tell the truth as I'm waiting on furniture being delivered but have to phone and give them enough notice for delivery first.
Well goodnight all, need my beauty sleep very much so tonight

Avoid Dreams etc as they are £££.
We paid about £200-£300 for our mattress and was the best thing ive bought for ages.
In hospital do will get details tomorrow but try before you buy and then order off web to save £££ kurly~kale wrote: »Some reasonably priced ones here http://www.wayfair.co.uk/Metal-Bed-Frames-C506751.html?keyword=&sortby=2&itemsperpage=24

It amazes me what I can find on a visit to a store that I thought I had picked clean already!!
I was only looking for the 22p baby monitor tonight because I thought I had found all the 1p items that I was going to find. Turns out I was wrong because I did quite well for myself
1x1p nutcracker
5x1p Guylian Opus
2x1p Guylian Trufelina
1x1p Small box of Guylian truffles
1x1p Box of Baileys truffles
1x1p Box of Finest Chocolate Hearts
1x1p Bag of Milk Chocolate Coins
It makes not finding that baby monitor a little more bearable ;-)Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -
