Made me LOL so got FB'd!!
Had an awful day today. Couple of weeks ago I begun to smell something musty in my place. Thought it may have been down to drying some clothes indoors, freshened the place up and left, haven't been back for two weeks.
Got back in today, walked through the door and was met with the most overwhelming smell of mold on my passage!! Smells like weed! No way was this down to me.. I'm spotless! Removed everything out of the passage, ripped up the carpet and threw it in the bin..
I have NO IDEA where the smell is coming from. It is dreadful. I closed the doors and isolated it to this room. It is entirely bare with no carpet.. No sign of mildew or anything.. My apartment is barely two years old.. It's not old mold.. I checked the net and apparently mold could be growing in the walls as a result of a burst pipe or something similar.. Just my luck
No idea what I should do tomorrow. I might have to get someone out, bet it costs a small fortune..
Hi, are you ground floor? We had something similar to this last year. It turned out the drains ( main one) outside had been blocked and basically the water was rising. It didn't smell disgusting (poo like etc) just mouldy. we found out buy a fluke chance of lifting the storm drain thingy outside and the water was right up. Apparently it was a good job we checked as were only 2 houses linked to the main sewer pass so could have gone unnoticed for ages and done damage. Sorry for rambling. worth a check just in case.0 -

On a serious note I am very upset with the comments on the Quiz board. I have tried my best.
It was a bit of fun for the majority of us
The Quiz is now closed
Huge thank you to everyone who did enjoy playing ♥
Don't know what went on but I'm so pleased you've reconsidered.
I really enjoy the quiz.....especially if I beat my arch rival Miss Laid.....(after saying this she'll probably whup me every time now!!)
Still housebound as the part needed for my car was out of stock and had to be ordered. It's the old air bag warning light fault which was mentioned on here a few weeks ago. For anyone with the same problem, it is now an automatic MOT failure if there is a warning light on of any description...whether there is an actual problem or not.
Edit: Yep.....whupped!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.0 -

Used the wys Mail Vedg £3 with £10 wys, c/o was aware the clubcard bonus voucher were not to be used in conjunction, had go to c/s for a dtd and had moan about why would they issue two types vouchers at the same time. They agreed gave me the wys money for the coupon (one i wombled on the way in). Stocked up again on the finest burgers, struggled spend £80, also bought 4 seperate quaker 1kg with coupon to price check against Asda (as per coupon thread).
