Made me LOL so got FB'd!!

Had an awful day today. Couple of weeks ago I begun to smell something musty in my place. Thought it may have been down to drying some clothes indoors, freshened the place up and left, haven't been back for two weeks.

Got back in today, walked through the door and was met with the most overwhelming smell of mold on my passage!! Smells like weed! No way was this down to me.. I'm spotless! Removed everything out of the passage, ripped up the carpet and threw it in the bin..

I have NO IDEA where the smell is coming from. It is dreadful. I closed the doors and isolated it to this room. It is entirely bare with no carpet.. No sign of mildew or anything.. My apartment is barely two years old.. It's not old mold.. I checked the net and apparently mold could be growing in the walls as a result of a burst pipe or something similar.. Just my luck :(

No idea what I should do tomorrow. I might have to get someone out, bet it costs a small fortune..

You may have hit the nail on the head here. Are you sure nobody in your block has set up a weed growing room? There was an article in the paper the other day about what a huge business it is now.

I got 2 x Galaxy cake bars and the value choc chip cakes that someone posted about, went through fine.
Just need to see if it would go through the ss tills without asking for assistance.

Interesting. I'm just back from Ts and bought the same as you. The SA said a query came up for authorisation and he thought it was because of the BOGOF but he put it through anyway. Got a bit embarrased but just looked vague and puzzled. Does it go through SS? May use that next time.

In my photography prefer to underexpose by 2 stops or more depending on how i'm feeling. I also do this because it is much easier to recover detail from darker areas than overblown highlights.

FK - i'd like to see your pics when you put it in manual mode - so much more creativity. Challenge if you choose to accept a bird pic or whatever with a lovely bokeh :)

I agree about the detail, but I do try to get the shots to my liking first time. Apart from cropping and tweaking the brightness and contrast to correct an exposure, I don't use any other manipulation at all. Last nights play with the colour balance was the first time.

The fuji tends to underexpose in sunset mode imo....the pics are overly moody to my mind and often take my sunset pics with the pics overexposed by almost a stop to take some of the moodiness out.

I'll have a play on manual and see what happens but dont expect miracles as my technical knowledge is still lagging badly!

When I used any of the price flop coupons on the SS till in my local, it always calls for assistance but not with other coupons.

Does anyone else find this? I'm going to try next time with some bits of shopping and two PF coupons.

Good afternoon - sorry I have skim read yesterday as my mind is not really on focussing on anything at the moment, today is the first anniversary of the death of my dear fil - my DD was very upset before school this morning so we had a good cry together

Anyhoo loved the picture of the Robin FK and the picture of the labrador puppies made me all broody for one. Bensonsmum your story had me in tears our furry babes are truly part of the family.

Would exercise caution if you have no other shopping.

To use any £1 coupon on the SS tills without calling for assistance you need to have spent at least £3.41.

When I used any of the price flop coupons on the SS till in my local, it always calls for assistance but not with other coupons.

I didn't know this - was just about to report that it didn't work for me this morning called the SA over twice - I just wanted the ground to open up but he was brill and we had a joke that I was giving him too much work so all was well.

Snapant - not sure what happened but thank you for restoring the quiz - I try and do it each day but sometimes I forget, I am very grateful for you doing this each day

Just noticed that the new price flop coupons say only one of each type can be used per transaction. Was this on the last lot? I used 3 cheese ones in one go last time...

Noticed in local CO-op there are half price huggies. All sizes I think except newborn size 1. The ones I seen were blue pack size 3 for £3.25. I think thats cheap I don't have little ones now
