Morning all. It was my birthday yesterday but I spent the day with oh in London helping my son and his gf move house. However we did go for lunch to the most famous pie and mash shop in London for lunch. Popped in to see dd ( who is back from Steps tour) on thd way back and got some lovely pressies. So I am officially celebrating my birthday today. Off to my sisters today for lunch today with the family.
paid a visit to poundland yesterday and realised it is cheaper to shop in Tesco with a voucher than in Poundland.
Was just watching the tv news about the missiles being placed on a roof in East London and it is the building opposite where my son now lives. Then who should I see walking along the road but my son and his girlfriend!!

Hope you enjoy your birthday celebrations today.
That's interesting about your DD....is she a backing singer,a dancer or behind the scenes bod?
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.

Really sorry haven't posted for ages on here but Ive had such a naff birthday I just felt like I needed to moan to someone & I know you guys wont judge me for moaning ;)
I know Im gonna sound so ungrateful but Im past caring! Was supposed to be going to the coast in the caravan for the weekend but by Thursday hubby had decided it was going to be too wet & windy for it to be enjoyable. Weather yesterday & today has been fine, if not sunny at times-typical! No present from hubby even though the only thing I asked for was a pair of slippers, however I was given a really naff bunch of flowers that he even said he knew I wouldnt like but wasnt paying anymore than that as they were just something for the kids to give to me! He knows I cant stand old granny looking flowers, washed out lilac toned chysanths that remind me of purple rinses & poodles, they dont even match anything in the house. So I havent bothered putting the plant food in! But why buy something he knows wont be appreciated? Waste of money & I find it quite offensive that after 15 years together he can't think of anything to get me. To top it off he invited his family round for tea that we dont even get on with!!??? So Ive spent all day trying to battle my anxiety disorder. Really could have just walked out on it all as it makes me feel so worthless & unappreciated. Probably seems worse to me as Im the type that spends ages planning hubbys & kids birthdays & put lots of thought in to what they get.
Thanks for listening I feel so much better for that ;)

Hi all, just popped in quickly to say hello, and saw this.

Freddies, sorry you're having a carp birthday, thoughtlessness always seems worse on days like that, doesn't it? And I do know what you mean about it stinging all the more when you always put lots of effort in for others. He probably doesn't realise how hurtful he's being, so once you're calmer I personally would explain to him how his behaviour makes you feel, so it doesn't happen again.

Otherwise, if you fancy a distraction, come over and sing with us on Tuesday night for you know what, it should be a good laugh and singing is well known for improving one's mood. Send me a pm if you fancy it.

Sending you a big birthday hug, Lutz xx
    Hope is not a strategy.

I just opened the door to put some rubbish in the bin and the wind pushed me back inside. I'm not going anywhere today. Trees are down all over the place.
