    i seriously think we should have an elite get together-an annual elite conference lol, invite all of our favourite trouts (ok maybe not:D), would be a laugh

    Can you imagine the chaos if a major glitch emerged while we were all at this get together? :rotfl:

    dizzy i have never been , its my sisters card and she not had it long but is in love with it!! was going to be my 1st trip but the weather is awfull and the spray on the motorway will be terrible, i will look at sugar as the price as rocketed everywhere!

    The sugar is something like £3.75 for a 5kilo bag or £10.99 for 12x1kilo bags. It's granulated sugar Tate and lyle I buy it and grind it with my hand blender to make caster or for longer to make icing sugar.
    Some stuff is more expensive than the SM's but there are bargains. I got my card off my Auntie's Dog as a thank you for looking after her, apparantly she bought it out of her own pocket money:rotfl:
    It looks like I might have to find out how bad the spray on the motorway is. I wonder if I can find a T's every 15 miles to stop at:rotfl:

    Morning all. I'm an early bird today, purely cos where I am is 5 hours behind you lot, lol. Today is the first day of our holiday, and we are sooo happy to be here:j:j.We arrived yesterday to glorious sunshine, 30C, with a cooling breeze. We got through immigration and customs in record time and car hire went smoothly. DH went for a swim while I unpacked and put everything away.
    I'm definitely a lurker for the next month, no T's here, and the price of groceries would make your eyes water. :eek::eek:A tin of Heinz baked beans is the equivalent of a pound!! And to add insult to injury they split the multi packs up and sell them individually! Still, I console myself with the thought that T's savings and general 'mseing' is paying for it all. ;)
    I went for my weigh-in at SW before we left, lost another 3lbs, yay. Our friend that met us at the airport commented, so I definitely look thinner! It will be hard to keep it up while we are here though, Pina Colada and bacon sarnies made with American style bacon are not conducive to successful weight loss!!!
    I haven't caught up with the thread yet, so will send generalized hugs to all who need them. I will lurk and be envious of any glitches you discover, and post now and again with our exploits, if anyone would be interested.
    Bye for now, off to skim 'n' lurk :rotfl::

  • Cheers for the info fudge just so busy with work atm
    I think my OH found 515gram packs off chicken breast at £3 in Ts hth some people on here as am paying £5 a kilo in S for frozen.

    I went into my local for those but there were none on the shelf, so I opted for diced chicken breast 410g @ £2.38 which I thought was pretty decent. They also had diced turkey breast for even less.

    I keep getting very odd reactions when I say 'are you a friend of martins?' to random people:rotfl::rotfl:Its not very subtle!

    Once CS asked me if I knew Martin Lewis:eek:..I played dumb but nearly weed myself:o

    If we had a conference, of course we would have to have it where ever the £15 hotel rooms are, and we would barter for free breakfasts. Lunch would be glitches, evening meal would be woopsies and OOD DTD wine.

    Trouts could be invited as 'guest speaker' but they wouldnt have to say anything, just pull a face while we throw paper aeroplanes at them, made out of surplus £10 WYS £80 receipts!:rotfl:

    :T That's so funny :rotfl::rotfl:
