    Morning all

    I am hungover.
I am not getting out of bed today. Except to make tea. And then I might either just make a flask of tea or bring the kettle up here

And the weather is absolutely vile today :(

All caught up now though :)

I especially like the frozen food one, so much easier than having to get to £10

Was going to go to the cinema but I really don't want to go out in this weather so think its a stay at home & bake day, just hope I've got enough baking stuff in. Might take some round to my elderly neighbour as a treat for her, spread a smile on such a miserable day
  • Morning all - lovely weather again - yet more rain.

I was moaning to my OH earlier today as my pamolive vouchers had not scanned well, he told me that I needed to set the printer to photo as that is what he usually does and they work really well. HTH you get lovely clear vouchers.:)

I find that if I print my coupons on draft or economy in black and white they all scan fine - if I print on normal or best the barcode is too heavy and thick and the SAs have trouble with them - saves on ink as well.

Really sorry haven't posted for ages on here but Ive had such a naff birthday I just felt like I needed to moan to someone & I know you guys wont judge me for moaning ;)
I know Im gonna sound so ungrateful but Im past caring! Was supposed to be going to the coast in the caravan for the weekend but by Thursday hubby had decided it was going to be too wet & windy for it to be enjoyable. Weather yesterday & today has been fine, if not sunny at times-typical! No present from hubby even though the only thing I asked for was a pair of slippers, however I was given a really naff bunch of flowers that he even said he knew I wouldnt like but wasnt paying anymore than that as they were just something for the kids to give to me! He knows I cant stand old granny looking flowers, washed out lilac toned chysanths that remind me of purple rinses & poodles, they dont even match anything in the house. So I havent bothered putting the plant food in! But why buy something he knows wont be appreciated? Waste of money & I find it quite offensive that after 15 years together he can't think of anything to get me. To top it off he invited his family round for tea that we dont even get on with!!??? So Ive spent all day trying to battle my anxiety disorder. Really could have just walked out on it all as it makes me feel so worthless & unappreciated. Probably seems worse to me as Im the type that spends ages planning hubbys & kids birthdays & put lots of thought in to what they get.
Thanks for listening I feel so much better for that ;)

Oh poor you, what a rotten time:(
If all us MSErs lived in the same town we could take you out for a good old knees up instead, but we can't, so the best gift I can think of is to wish you happy birthday, and hope that the next MSE glitch is something that you REALLY like, then you can buy lots of it and treat yourself to a bargain too!
Men can be flipping thoughtless soemtimes. Once I got a toilet seat for mothers day! (the kids were too young to buy it, it was like your flowers, he bought it for them to give me) His reply was a shrug of the shoulders and a 'well I thought I would get you something you would use'.
