Hi everybody, I hope you are all good, just had a really good whoopsie run. Went to Local Mr S just has the last reductions were being done.
    4 pkts prawns
    6 chicken breasts
    12 sausages
    two fish cakes
    1 pkt of pork ribs
    3 pkts smoked haddock fillets

    This cost me £16. 55p
Should have cost me at full price £52. 57p.

My freezer is now full and nothing else can fit in. won't need to buy meat or fish for a while.
Mortgage debt 45,000. Thank you all for your help so far in helping me save to buy the house. I could not have done this without all your help.

This poor woman in front of me today was near to tears after spending £120, produced the £10 voucher and the evil trout said with a sour face "can't use until next week" customer looked like she was about to cry. She said I only did such a big shop because of the voucher- then she asked how long it was valid - of course only next week. To which she said there's no way I can spend that amount again next week. I couldn't keep my mouth shut at this point so piped up" I'd put all that shopping back if I were you out of principle"
    She didn't.

I then went on to use MY £4 off £30 spend buying a coat which obviously won't be suitable to be returned in a couple of weeks.

Wonder how many people have been caught out by missing the date on the coupon??

I popped into an Extra at lunchtime ony to find the Mars Bar/Snickers were totally cleared out. I found loads of Galaxy and Milky Way though......but they scanned at £2.49 so hardly surprising they were still there! :rotfl:

Stopped at another Ts on way home about 430pm and got Milky Way and Mars for 24p no problem in there. I couldn't believe they still had stock because there were 24p SELs as plain as day in front of them both.

I also found 3 boxes of 1p chocolate love hearts and I wombled a £75 cash receipt with 75 unclaimed club card points which effectively paid for 3 of my 24p packs and the 3 1p items. :T

Plus that receipt is mainly for baby purchases and since Asda have their baby event on right now I'm hopeful for a JTD coming back
Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen
