When postie puts card through my door its normally 24 hours or longer before i can pick it up. Never had pick up in a few hours
With us it depends on where they've been sent from and also if the driver wants to go home early or not
Most of the time the regular postie holds on to it but leaves a note to let you know it's there and he'll deliver again the next day.
If it's another postie/van it goes to the sorting office and then it's 24 - 48 hrs before collection.
Todays was parcel force and the driver left it at the local post office just a few streets away1st time this has been done usually they take it to the sorting office for collection and looking on the back of the card it's in an industrial estate near the port.

i'm like that with the fruit and veg
had to hide it in the boot last night as MIL is soooo going to think i have lost the plot, about 12 packs of carrots, 8 packs of peppers, 3 watermelons, loads oranges and bananas
we will have a chocolate and fruit party:T:T:T, drat forgot i was a wimp with the chocolate:(:(:(:(
Lol when tosco had pedigree dry complete on offer(£6.99 each or 2 for £6)I bought a shed load and I still have some bags of it in boot cos no room for it in house-now there's a thought if I sort my stash room out tonight instead of going choc hunting I might just get my boot space back:TWe are many we are one xxx

Afternoon all....
Well, today has been a bit of a disaaaster dahlings!
Decided against my better judgement to go on a chocolate hunt. Thought I'd stand more chance if I tried the Extras so headed down towards Plymouth.
First stop Lee Mill.....empty shelves....zilch!
Transit Way......empty shelves......zilch!
Roborough..... SEL 24p....zilch!
70 ruddy miles round trip and not one pack of chocolate
My feet are swollen, I've got a headache....couldn't even get the ice creams everyone's raved about because the bu88ers would have melted by the time I got home :rotfl:
I have decided Mr T and I are no longer friends at the moment and Mr S can have my custom instead..... especially as he so kindly sold me some really cheap tools today (silly prices if anyone needs DIY stuff) and 12 handwashes....(well I had to get something to cover the cost of the petrol!!)
I haven't looked at the thread today, but before I catch up, would anyone insensitive enough to post pictures of their chocolate stash, remove them ASAP as I'm likely to cry
I promise it wasn't me. Haven't been to those T's in weeks :rotfl:Glad you can find your way to Transit Way now.
Evening everyone
I am in such bad mood. Think its all these hours I am doing at work. I really feel for my OH :rotfl:
