With us it depends on where they've been sent from and also if the driver wants to go home early or not ;)
Most of the time the regular postie holds on to it but leaves a note to let you know it's there and he'll deliver again the next day.
If it's another postie/van it goes to the sorting office and then it's 24 - 48 hrs before collection.
Todays was parcel force and the driver left it at the local post office just a few streets away :D 1st time this has been done usually they take it to the sorting office for collection and looking on the back of the card it's in an industrial estate near the port.

Thanks for explaining that :D I don't know where our local parcel force office is. Sorting office 20+ mins walk away so i normally tell them to redeliver to local post office 5 mins away :D

I thought you were talking about wombled receipts drying on the line!!!

Don't think there would be anything left if I did. :rotfl:
  • p.s. Sick of the sight of the £10 off wys £80 vouchers when wombling.

    Me too they are everywhere!
We are many we are one xxx

So that every single post that I contribute to this thread is on topic I would just like to say I am an elite 11+ member and I hear the unjust silence of my opinions whilst I am shopping in supermarkets mainly. Just sayin.

The 50s styled one was drop dead gorgeous.

This one is really classy too and will be perfect with a wrap and new shoes and purse!

    You will look amazing.
A dress does have to be worn though before you decide so I am sure you have made the right choice.

I'm getting excited about the wedding for you! Can't wait to see the laden tables, etc!!!:T

    Thanks for your comemts.
It seems everything is now falling into place. I have ordered the following from M and S....
Madagascan vanilla-infused mini cheesecakes, mini tartlets filled with a rich, thick crème pâtissière and a colourful selection of fresh fruit, mini cupcakes, Triple layer carrot cake, Triple layer victoria sponge cake, Triple layer toffee cake, Strawberry and clotted cream cheese cake and mini chocolate profiteroles, puff pastry palmiers and mini doughnuts.
I have all the cold meats ordered and have just placed an order for a smoked fish platter to be made from a local fishmongers. I have tried to source as much as possible from this area.
I have sorted out the vintage dishes and cakestands. I am hoping it will look pretty on the day. Im driving OH made with all this and he says he still loves me :) One lucky lady who will be celebrating 30 years of married life soon :D
I promise to put some photos on here after the wedding :)

I promise it wasn't me. Haven't been to those T's in weeks :rotfl:Glad you can find your way to Transit Way now.

    Evening everyone

I am in such bad mood. Think its all these hours I am doing at work. I really feel for my OH :rotfl:

Own up....you snaffled the lot :rotfl::rotfl:

Yup found Transit way....had a mosey in the Mostyns curtain place next door too.

I LOVED the Marsh Mills Sainsbobs though. What a fab supermarket that was....so big and so clean!!
If I lived in Plymouth that's where I would shop for sure.
And only use T's for glitches and whoopsies
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.
