Most of the time the regular postie holds on to it but leaves a note to let you know it's there and he'll deliver again the next day.
If it's another postie/van it goes to the sorting office and then it's 24 - 48 hrs before collection.
Todays was parcel force and the driver left it at the local post office just a few streets away1st time this has been done usually they take it to the sorting office for collection and looking on the back of the card it's in an industrial estate near the port.
Thanks for explaining thatI don't know where our local parcel force office is. Sorting office 20+ mins walk away so i normally tell them to redeliver to local post office 5 mins away

Me too they are everywhere! We are many we are one xxx
So that every single post that I contribute to this thread is on topic I would just like to say I am an elite 11+ member and I hear the unjust silence of my opinions whilst I am shopping in supermarkets mainly. Just sayin.0 -

This one is really classy too and will be perfect with a wrap and new shoes and purse!
You will look amazing.
A dress does have to be worn though before you decide so I am sure you have made the right choice.
I'm getting excited about the wedding for you! Can't wait to see the laden tables, etc!!!:T
Thanks for your comemts.
It seems everything is now falling into place. I have ordered the following from M and S....

I have all the cold meats ordered and have just placed an order for a smoked fish platter to be made from a local fishmongers. I have tried to source as much as possible from this area.
I have sorted out the vintage dishes and cakestands. I am hoping it will look pretty on the day. Im driving OH made with all this and he says he still loves meOne lucky lady who will be celebrating 30 years of married life soon
