Mummy.. it is quite possible he can feel a lump in his throat.. if he has any kind of infection the gland might be a little swollen.. these are usually smooth lumps.. I currently have half my face swollen and massive glands in my neck and mouth.. it is so painful
I hope the chest xray shows nothing worth worrying about.
dancemum.. my 16 y/o isn't allowed to watch 18+ films and I have to type in a password for him to install anything on his computer.. I won't let my slightly younger ones on fb either.. He also has settings so he can't download anything or watch youtube or anything.. My 14 y/o is not allowed 15+ films and my younger girls aren't allowed anything 12+... Dot watches Star Trek and all sorts!

I've made a start and finally learned how to strike things off a list
Now I need to tackle the kitchen surfaces. Does it still count if I put things back once I've cleaned? There's too much stuff to get rid of it all just now
Happy St George's Day

Afternoon all
Cleaned the kitchen/diner and also dusted the living room and hallway/computer desk and vacuumed right through. Washing draped round indoors. Still raining. Got soaked this morning walking, got my coat dry this afternoon and just got soaked again going out.
All good fun.0 -

Did he have a bad cold/chest infection before this? I know other people (myself included) have been having real trouble getting over things - I'm never ill, and I've now had two infections and my breathing and voice are bad again
On the positive side I have done a small amount of work (not the important stuff...) and my cupboard doors, hob and cooker hood are spotless0 -
Thanks. Boys are home from school and DS1 is still moaning about the 18 games thing. So I have put cotton wool in my ears so I don't get drawn into it again.
Off to look at the kitchen and cook tea.0 -

tell him you will willingly buy him one for his 18th birthday
im sure hes not the laughing stock of the school and hopefully not the only one who actually has a parent who loves him so therefore cares about the suitability of the games he plays. Unfortunately he wont thank you for this now but he will be a much better person in the future for having a responsible parent who cares for him and takes her parenting responsibilities seriously and doesnt just cave in and go for the easy option.
im actually going to get my finger out and do something else off the list now so see after my HHC blitzSPC~12 ot 124
In a world that has decided that it's going to lose its mind, be more kind my friend, try to Be More Kind0
