we sometimes watch things over age WITH ours but tend to use kidsinmind if its something new but stuff like top gun thats too old for our youngest we have watched with him and as has been said we can discuss stuff. mine know when they have to take no for an answer but it doesnt stop them pushing to see if the boundaries move. its all part of growing up.

    right have finally done something
boys fed and dispached (eldest at youth council meeting he walked, youngest is having his first night at boys brigade/scouts DH works with someone who runs it and DS seemed interested so hes going for a try out, will find out exactly which one it is and if he is going again when he gets back.
    cupboards and appliances wiped down
    bins emptied (bathroom and kitchen)
tea made and cooking (sweetpotato and leek pie)
washing up done and about to get a line of washing in if its dry.
    all recycling tidied and baged
glass taken to bottle bank and a carrier of old clothes taken to clothes bank.

just need to mop the floor, do packs up eat tea and wash up again and i can sit with a book or my stitching for a bit.

I am going to bury them all under the patio if they aren't in bed soon.. they have done nothing but whine since they got in from school

We ended up doing a bit more than a HHC. Surprisingly i had help without even asking for it from OH and Ds1.

I put the rabbits to bed
Ds1 washed up & wiped sides & hob & table
OH and Ds2 tidied the living room
    I helped Ds2 to have a shower & read him a story
I put another load of washing on the airers

I've just dragged 2 huge bags of stuff from under my bed ready to Ebay tonight.

I hope they find the dog soon Sagaris and how kind for you to go and help look.
  • After several months of non- flying I am back on the wagon!! House guests arriving in three weeks - so house must be spotless!! I figure three weeks of flying should do the trick.

Just home from work and kitchen tidied - dishwasher emptied loaded and on. Surfaces cleared and cleaned, floor swept. Hoping to get all three levels done before bed. But place lOoks better already!!

    Evening

Dinners all done and I need to clear away but wanted to check what was left on the list - DH is home and doesnt like me flying on his few nights off so I can get a way with a bit if its in the kitchen and I am 'clearing up'.

mummyof5 - as others have said, I hope the lump feeling is just the glands, Good luck for the xray.

Can't remember who went on the beagle hunt but I hope he/she gets found soon.

Appropriate age games. I was VERY strict with DS as I was his only parent in the house and didnt want his dad to have ANY reason to complain about my parenting, DD however has 2 parents in the house and while I can put my point across DH also has a say and he is a lot more lenient than I am (I did win the sleepover argument tho and picked her up without any trouble)

    Right where's my list

Monday - kitchen and dining room
    level one

    Level Two
    Clear, sweep and mop floors
    Wipe cupboard fronts
    Wipe table and chairs
    Level three
    HHI
    Extras
    Wipe and water plants
    wipe bins

Well there wasnt much left so I better go and do what I can although possibly not the ironing.

    Perhaps see you all tomorrow

    Kaz x
