Have finally done a bit of work :o but it's cold now, so may need to find something more active to do. Like clean the hob before making lunch ... first I need to find another layer to put on though!

I really do need to get my act together on the work front at some point too :o

It's been an epic day, I think I bit off more than I could chew and went to town with the fridge cleaning. Whilst my kitchen is now gleaming and the fridge positively beautiful, I didn't exactly envisage that I would spend the whole of my day off in the kitchen. :( It does look great though and I feel much better for having tackled it and done everything on the list, as I was about ready to give up by mid-afternoon.

    Latest balance $266,734

Just make sure you keep it that way, and then your day off will have been used to make the rest of your week better :) So before even worrying about level 1 for the rest of the week, build up your 'keeping the kitchen tidy' routine. Wipe down surfaces as you use them, wipe up spills as they happen, check the fridge is tidy every time you put something away and follow Valli's 'don't put it down, put it AWAY' mantra. It's also always worth having a quick swish & swipe (S&S) before bedtime, so you know you will keep coming down to a spotless kitchen every morning. And trust me, it will get the day off to a better start! My kitchen maintenance routine starts in the morning when i'm making my porridge, as I either unload the dishwasher and put stuff away, or do other pottering around to keep it clean and tidy. As you are doing the FF, at least your fridge won't get too cluttered, so it should be easier to keep clean! Just try to avoid cooking anything that involves lots of mess or clearing up ;)

And on that note - I have cleaned the rest of the kitchen surface, hob and shined the sink :D I'm about to go back and cook lunch, so might wave a cloth over the fronts of the units. I have also packed up all the macaroons I made yesterday into small packages to give to friends & family. I'm wondering whether I could post some to my dad or whether that might be a little over-optimistic...

Flying got stopped by discovering I'm the worst parent in the world. DS1 let rip about me being over protective and him not being about to have 18 cert games (he is 15). I don't let him do anything and he is a laughing stock at school etc etc. This is probably why I haven't noticed that the tv I popped on 20 mins ago for the news is still on sponge bob.

    Off to tidy LR
Good parenting I would say. Some of them 18+ videos are far too violent for any age - imho.
