Desk now appears to be tidier... pile on floor needs moving. Think this might be displacement activity as it certainly isn't work!

Flying got stopped by discovering I'm the worst parent in the world. DS1 let rip about me being over protective and him not being about to have 18 cert games (he is 15). I don't let him do anything and he is a laughing stock at school etc etc. This is probably why I haven't noticed that the tv I popped on 20 mins ago for the news is still on sponge bob.

    Off to tidy LR

I think most of us have worn that badge. No 18's allowed in this house whatsoever despite one 18 and one 16 year old. I don't like violence and with a 10 year old in the house decide it's not appropriate, mine are fine by this.

My 2 have othodentist this week too, it's a flylady week for it. DS2 last check after brace being off for a year and DS1 penultimate one after brace being off for 6 months - there is an end and it is so worth it.

Off to finish the kitchen also need to:

    Post photos
    Make Tom soup
    Online orders
    check statements
    Sort out tent with DS1
    Deal with kitchen hotspot
    Sow some runner beans
The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair

    Morning!

Was ready to rock this morning when DH decided (again) that he has lost his car keys and his work laptop was locked in the boot . Just about to order a new key (£350.00) as work told him he would have to take annual leave until it was sorted and he found it:mad::mad::mad:.

The house has been literally turned upside down. He has pulled stuff out of draws, moved all the sofas etc and now just gone to work and left it all. I could cry.

I have to go and pick up DS from nursery in 15 minutes and then off to work until I pick up my other DS so FLYing will have to wait until 3.30.

    So today:

Monday - kitchen and dining room
    level one
    Clear and wipe work surfaces
    Shine your sink
    Level Two
    Clear, sweep and mop floors
    Wipe cupboard fronts
    Wipe table and chairs
    Level three
    Clean out fridge
Meal plan for the week using the things that need using up
    HHI
    Extras
    Wipe and water plants
    Empty and wipe bins

    My must dos:

    1. WM
    2. DW
    3. TD
    4. Clear airer
    5. Fold and put away underwear
    6. Clear off sideboard
    7. Clear stairs
    8. Post FIL's birthday card
    9. Buy bananas
    10. Bread for lunches
    11. Make lunches for tomorrow
    12. Work 12-2

The rest of the destruction will just have to happen somehow.

Onwards and upwards. I will get there.

Oh, and thanks to Juliejim for the list :j

  • Good morning :D

washing up done, food bin emptied, and made a start on the worksurfaces. I have washed DD1's work coat (that i asked her to put away before she went back to uni ) as the cat had been sleeping on it & had upchucked! Little Miss Sunshine at play group, and no Miss T today, so decided to walk the dog before the rain comes :)

Apart from that, not much done :o I think i should use the next 20 mins wisely.....

HHI ( need to do a massive one started yesterday but the end is not near:-(
    Extras
    Empty bins

A wee bit off my list but not much :o really CBA today I think I'm in need of a fluffy mule in my direction ;). Just having a coffee and then I'll get back to it. Need to sort out the pets next. Dog is fed but still to do the fish and rabbit then I'll crack on with the scullery.

Since my last post i have

Made my bed i went to do Ds2's and the cat opened one eye and looked at me as if to say "please don't move me" so i left it
Put all last nights ironing away
    Had a shower
    S&S Bathroom
    Collected laundry

I'm just going to pack my sales then make us some lunch. My entire living room is covered in lego . Thankfully Ds2 has thought to put a few blankets down before emptying the tubs.

*Looks around for fluffy mules, fails to find any so throws a tatty gardening shoe at FFP*:rotfl:

I will get the kitchen up to scratch by the end of the day - honest!:D

WM has been on, so there's a load drying on the whirly-thingy outside - after I'd dropped one of Mr LW's socks in Lucy's water bowl.

Lucy came out with me to "help" with the pegging out, and she deposited a huge pile of poo in the middle of the lawn; so we've cleaned that up and been up to the local poo-bin to dispose of it. She's excellent at walking to heel, even with the mobility buggy!:)

I need to declutter her loose fur later; luckily she loves being brushed.;)
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
