I have ordered them:D:D:D:D:D:Dthrough Quidco:money:Not least because the kids have new shoes...
re FC I agree with MOAM - it's within us all;)
mind you I had to tell DD as I didn't want her going up to the comp with that idea then, as an afterthought added in tooth fairy information - at which point she was VERY cross!
(I think the phrase I used was 'and while I'm at it how are you on the tooth fairy?' and the say Librans are diplomatic :rotfl:)
Piggers - my mum was an only child, so she had her parent's house to clear, we also had to 'do' both my Great Aunt's houses, so knick-knacks were stored in mum's attic; partly because she wasn't ready to let them go. She had hung onto lots of stuff - I once watched a TV programme where a mirror was shown just like the one she had when I was little - mentioned it and she confessed she still had it, in the attic! She probably still has it, actually, because I haven't spotted it yet. So when she does decide to let go of stuff some comes here and I know she has been to the charity shop with bagfuls, too!
Mind you I have the elephants that my Great Aunt had - and they are NOT to be sold. Now she died in 2005 so I could have had them then! I did get the Sylvac bunny and he's a keeper;) I've also got a heavy lead crystal ashtray, which was my Grandad's. No-one smokes. But you could lay someone out with it, no problem;)
DD's possible prom dress it looks much better on DD (who is a size 6) and fits beautifully!
love the dress valli - but  at the price!
DD2's prom dress is sorted...
http://www.very.co.uk/little-mistress-embellished-strappy-dress/1092867857.prd?browseToken=%2fb%2f1222%2c1655%2fs%2fbestsellers%2c0%2fo%2f2%2fr%2f100&trail=1589-1655-1222
I should point out that this model is about 5'8", whereas DD2 is 5'2" on a good day - and therefore this dress is down to her knees......
DD2 has an official diagnosis of post-viral fatigue..... and has been advised to rest...A Level photography exam is in 2 weeks...:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -
mumto5 will be thinking of you and hoping the weather holds off, hope you manage to get your bra looking how you want it. a friend of mine did the moonwalk a couple of years ago (for her mum) and said it was great fun and a brilliant way to raise much needed funds.SPC~12 ot 124

Afternoon all
DS3 seems a bit better now, didn't want to go to school so said he had a sore throat, at least his friends are coming after school and I've agreed to a sleepover so he will be happy about that.
Spent the morning sorting out the street party stuff with a neighbour.
Lunch now and then flying needs to be the bathroom and landing. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
 @ the cost of the prom dresses; my wedding dress was £154, and I was _pale_ at spending that amount on a dress!:D I've worn it several times since we got married though, so feel reasonably OK about it now.;)
That said, the young ladies in question will look stunning; I know Pigpen's DD1 was beautiful in her dress; I remember seeing the photo posted.:o
I'm a little  at Mr LW - there's not exactly a hotspot, but a definite warm patch forming on top of his printer; so he's going to be sorting that this evening (he doesn't know yet
). There's the gas/leccy to sort (we need to switch deals, as our current one is shortly to end), an online voting thingy to do, and an unsolicited letter from a firm that claims to reunite people with money they should have inherited - for a substantial fee - to decide what he wants to do about. I've also had my DLA award letter for this year, so I want him to scan it before I file it away (some places require a copy to prove entitlement before they give you disabled privileges - CEA card is one for instance) so he can do that as well.;)
The only "gibble" on my desk is current - the information sheet that Lucy brought with her, plus her postcard that I have to write for her to take home.:o
Oh yes, and I finally have an appointment with the physio-terrorist to see about my shoulder; 15:30 on Tuesday 8th May, so we'll see what transpires with that; it's still making my life difficult - I can't do basic things like pegging washing out without great difficulty (yes I know, there's been no point in trying these last few days, but still...) and it's keeping me awake every night with the pain, so I sure hope they can alleviate it.:oIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

Hi All
Posting quickly from work, hope you are all well today, it’s a bright day here but looks like rain is on the horizon. I only got the general tidy-uppy-stuff done last night, I am at the start of claiming back PPI (only cos OH nagged me, I was too much of a tight- @rse to pay it and was adamant there was NO WAY I had ppi) I came across an old folder with old statements etc…….turned out OH was right,
the amount of things PPI was on was unreal!!! So I have been busy filling out forms taking copies and now all posted recorded delivery today. I will do as much as I can tonight so I am not spending the weekend cleaning. DS’s Room is an absolute riot, so will be in there after dinner tonight. Love and Hugs etc to all especially LL, Toots & LW x
