Sorry I promised to be in but haven't been posting. I've been working really hard on study catch up, I'm only a week behind on each now. Much better than before however bad it sounds.

I've been sorting bit by bit, in and out on the lists then as I thought I was getting closer to being sorted I realised that I wasn't any closer, just all my storage areas were full. So off to Ikea, bought an extension for the wall unit which now stretches the length of the dining area. Then Wednesday the dog jumped on the bed when he was wet (kids left gate open) after having to take the mattress topper off realised how awful our bed was. So today ordered a new one, interest free thankfully.

Ok that means I need to empty my room OMG... Floordrobe which is partly in boxes needs sorting. The delivery peeps build the bed too so no getting away with it. Got until second week in May I think, best double check. Be lovely to have a decent bed.

Ok tonight .... Not long left. Washer & drier both finishing off. Shelves put in the wall unit so DP can put the doors on tomorrow - wonder if he will? I've got a pile of storage boxes to put together that need putting together, daft things are screws and bolts

Right ... I'll try to pop in tomorrow x
One day I might be more organised...........

Children decided not to sleep so

4 storage boxes built - itsy bitsy nuts and bolts, 12 in each to fasten what a headache!
2 washer loads done - another in the TD.... Which is now outside in the shed so I sometimes put it on at night, naughty I know. Moved it in there to fit a FF in the kitchen (my American one some will remember was a pain to get in the house blew up) and hoped to use it less - maybe I cursed the weather??!!
Sorted a couple of bits of paperwork
Sorted the fridge, froze some bits, flung some nasties

Tomorrows first list while DP is taking my friends elderly dad to airport

2 loads in drier - this weather not showing easing & house far too damp to air inside
Sort things I need to post - expenses form, nursery care claim form, reference for someone
Empty DW, refill DW, clean sink and drainer
Fill a recycling box and fling

    Morning All

Mum and dad's for tea tonight but I will have an hour or so free time first to get some stuff done. The fire and boiler are being serviced tomorrow morning so I need to make sure the landing is clear and the LR is tidy. The dog had been sick this morning so I've cleaned that up and chucked his bed away. I've cleared the drainer and now I'm going to load the WM and do a HHI I think.

    Have a good day all

    Hugs

Managed to empty the DW and put my second lot of washing through - now need to try to find room on the airer - all this rain is doing nothing to help me get washing dry. That might be all the flying I manage today as I am going to spend most of it going to Suffolk and back.

Think I've lost my way somewhat on who is happy and who needs (((hugs))) - please collect as appropriate.

Thanks LameWolf and Mumto5. I'll perhaps post later or tomorrow.

    Morning all!

It's raining again - what a surprise! I have today off though - to get ready for our week in the Lakes! :D

I'll do some basic flying too and anything else I can get done - had a couple of evenings out this week (work and hairdressers lol) so not done as much as I would have liked - must do better!

Best be off and in the shower - otherwise it will be 3pm before I get there - hair to colour as well - got to look my best to be drowned in the rain next week! Hope everyone has a productive day and manages to dodge that rain - when will it end?

kazwookie thanks for the ebay reminder, i dont do it bu DD does, ill remind her to adjust her postage charges. - i think the reason i needed to join this thread is because im bad at time management, i would sooner be knitting stitching or entering comps than doing housework im having to learn that hobbies and interests should come AFTER chores.
pigpen well done on finishing the cardi, i did some on the front of a jumper for niece last night
mrs_B hugs and hoping you are well and coping

didnt achieve much flying at all yesterday so will be playing catch up upstairs today and hopefully get lists cleared in time for the weekend

I have a rule... I do NOT do housework once the children are in bed.. I might load the WM, TD or DW but that doesn't count. I don't do any toy tidying, vacuuming, mopping, wiping etc.. 9pm is MY time.. the older children (16, 14 and 13) all go to bed and I watch rubbish or Star Trek and knit and drink tea until about 12/1ish then go to bed..

My time is important and necessary, I do actually crash about 4pm usually but caffeine helps :p

Children away to school.. both babies still in bed but I have to go wake Dot as I have my nail appt and she isn't allowed to stay with OH because she isn't his friend... he is ok from across the room when she is on my lap, and sometimes he can pick her up for 5 minutes so long as he then passes her to me. She shreiks and squawks and screeches constantly and wriggles like nothing on earth, I have never known a baby wriggle as much as she does.. given that she barely moved while I was pregnant and she is more than making up for that now!

Coffee made for OH.. off to brush nest find boots and prod a small baby awake!

Hi Mumto5..his excema is not good to say the least...his Vitd levels are very low..he has been taking supplements for about 4 months but his Doctor doesnt think its enough..he had more blood tests and has to go back in 4 weeks meanwhile he is on antibiotics yet again..I swear I can hear him rattle:(

It sounds as though our DS's suffer the same afflictions. DS3 has the 3 exzema, asthma and hayfever. So yes Dusty the pollen makes him much worse. His skin feels like sandpaper ATM. I really need to do his emolients x 4 a day but am settling for morning, after school and just before bed.

You really seem to be doing the rounds of Dr/hospital appointments ATM. I hope your OH gets some answers soon.
    Afternoon all

Hugs to the Mums with eczema kids - it must be tough, does the pollen count make them worse?

I think you must be commended for getting him to 10 and still believing in FC. My big 3 all join in the magic because they agree it is special - quite rare in my household for someone not to spoil something. Maybe there is hope for family harmony;)

I agree that MOAM has a lovely way of explaining it.

DD's possible prom dress it looks much better on DD (who is a size 6) and fits beautifully!

Beautiful frock! I bet she will look stunning.

I've finished my first week. I'm reeling with all the new information and am looking forward to next week.

The house is still looking fairly respectable. DH has worked from home for the last 2 days and has whipped the kids into shape. Unfortunatley the ironing which was extinct on Sunday night is now getting to unmanageable levels. I have steeled myself to getting up at 6am and ironing every morning so that I don't spend my free Friday, Sat and Sun doing it.

I'm going to potter around the house doing jobs today. I have to decorate my bra for the moonwalk (15 days and counting). I have the bits just need to do a sketch and somehow work out how to get the sketch onto the bra.

I've mapped a 20 mile training walk for tomorrow. I'm doing an anti rain dance now!
