£10 OPd from *rgos voucher from S&S. £52.02/£80
Gym visit this afternoon 6/10
6.25 extra hours worked to try and start sorting out mess left by my useless replacement. Going to book annual travel insurance and leave rest to top up current account. Feels so wrong now not to OP extra money but otherwise I'd have to find it from somewhere else. The extra money can also make my life easier!!:)
Managed to book an 'accidental' holiday yesterday. Went to visit friends for a cup of tea and to collect some things they were getting rid off. Ended up staying for chinese takeway, and booking a cottage near york for next october with its own pool. We had been planning to go away with them without the kids this year. We'd been too busy to go so I had a £500 pot for this already. Just need to save £200 more & some spending money.
So thats 2 hols next year now!!! Ooops.Re-mortgaged 20/04/12 MTiT-T3 No.7Start balance £89611.10 + £22500 = £112111.10/Current balance £85436.53

I can't comment on having 2 holidays booked - we have already been on one and a city break AND planning another one before the end of the year!
With us its more of a case that if we don't go away, we never get any rest.

Another 2 hours extra work completed last night, will do about 3 in the office today, and still probably bring some home. Not sure how long I can keep this up, and it's only the first week. Keep thinking of the extra money!!
Have decided that the extra paid this week will go on train tickets to go to London at half-term. Would like to visit Kensington Palace to see Queen Victoria exhibition. Have decided annual travel insurance should wait until beg of Nov to allow it to cover both holidays next year.
Next weeks extra will go on club memberships due for girls - £66:eek: and an OP of about £50. After that we start saving for the cream log burner, although I had to stop myself from buying an Artisan Kitchenaid from Debenhams sale. Luckily they didn't have the colour I wanted.

I'd love a pale pink or cream one. They didn't have those colours and even though it would've been £80 cheaper, I thought I'd always be looking at it thinking it wasn't what I wanted. I'd rather wait until I can afford what I want.
Extra earned this week has gone to top up current account and buy train tickets to go to London at half term. So no OP there.
However of checking old accounts at Nwide found £21.81 interest sitting there. Have transferred and OPd. Very unexpected. £73.83/£80.:T

I also went to a gym class last night even though I didn't feel like it. At the start of the class looking round neither could anybody else! The instructor had loads of energy though so she got us all going and we all looked a bit cheerier by the time we left the room!
I'm looking forward to a straight home after work evening tonight though!MFW: Nov 2008 £156k, Jun 2015 £129k, Jun 2017 £114k.0 -
After checking my old accounts yesterday, checked DH old account and found £51.19 - so have OPd.
Monthly target £125.02/£80 - smashed :T - and knocked another month off - now December 2031:j. 5 months off in the 5 months since re-mortgaging. The standard £300 OP at end of month should knock another month off.
On spendy news - £40 on MOT, although it passed so no further cost. And £23 on an electric blanket for DD2 as she is not sleeping because she's cold. Think it's because when we moved her room around we moved her bed under window. Have also got her winter duvet out so she should be toast tonight!Re-mortgaged 20/04/12 MTiT-T3 No.7Start balance £89611.10 + £22500 = £112111.10/Current balance £85436.53

Oh dear food shopping has come in nearly £10 over budget this week. Just goes to show I spend far more when I;m in the shop tha doing it online.
Also put £20 on one of those parent/student gift cards for my god-daughter/cousin who goes away to uni next week. I'm so proud of her, and thought we could help out a little very month. She is in catered accomodation but £10 a month will buy a few treats for her.
Been baking all afternoon, white choc cookies, hobnob style biccies, choc fudge cake & bread pudding. It may last until tomorrow!
Girls both have a sleepover tonight, house is bedlam at the mo. Taking them to the roller skate disco later - hopefully that will wear them out. A small reward for sharing rooms in the summer during our little disaster.Re-mortgaged 20/04/12 MTiT-T3 No.7Start balance £89611.10 + £22500 = £112111.10/Current balance £85436.53

Delia has a great chocolate bread pudding recipe and even the kids love it, so maybe that could 'turn' OH on to bread pudding?
Well done on the cooking - sounds fab
