Bargain Dell pc @£177 confirmed via order watch as shipped today and delivery estimate of Friday 1 April. Hope they are not having a laugh........

did anyone order the d03302c system at £316.00 and what is the differents with this one and the one at £177 and can you buy a modem for the £316 system

Not sure what the difference is without looking, however if you go to the dell site and enter the order codes previously listed, you'll see the full details of each spec.

Looks like people who ordered the £173 system's are getting their PC's in the next couple of days. My order status has changed from 05/04/2004 to 07/04/2005. Is anybody slightly concerned that Dell or not going to honour any of the other priced system?

I placed two orders. First order was for 2 pc's at £173, and the second order was for the pc with the 19" lcd. Received internet receipt numbers for both orders.

Recieved a phone call on Saturday asking did I want all three pc's, which I confirmed. Within a hour I received an email with the pdf for the 19" lcd system, but nothing for the 2 £173 systems.

Order status on the 19" system states delivery on 05/04/05 and order status on the other order finds the order, but states it is in preproduction.

I also received an email yesterday morning asking me to contact Dell, which I did. But their customer care representative stated that their applications were down and he would ring me back...... still waiting.

I'll just have to wait to see what, if anything, turns up.

My order for the £233 has changed to 7.04.05 too. I'm still hoping it'll turn up.

I ordered the P4 3.0ghz 17" flatscreen for £233 and it's still pre-production. But the lady from India contacted me again regarding delivery address and when I called her and sorted things out she said it was in productions even though the order status says 'pre-production'

With all this contact from them I think they 'will' honour it...

My estimated date has also changed to the 7th. I've also had an authorisation today on my card for £233 which is good news
