PDF just arrived !!

Had two seperate phone calls from Dell asking to confirm orders, the second one asking how many orders I had placed !

On hearing hubby mentioning honestly that we'd already had a phone call and that we had placed just one order, I ran and grabbed the phone off him and denied that we knew how many orders we had placed that day because the paperwork was at the office *cough* and that our secretary *cough* had dealt with it !!!

Explained later to hubby that you never admit to Dell how many orders you placed incase they start duplicating them again !!!!

Where the hell am I going to put all the boxes ? I'd just cleared the lounge after the last lot ! Lol

got my PDFs and had Dell ring me to confirm delivery address... Also confirmed the total of £233

i ordered this morning, placed 2 orders, 1 for the CRT SYstem, and one for the Flat Screen System.

At 8pm tonight, i have the 1st PDF with confirmation for the CRT based system, but as of yet no confirmation for the TFT System.

I have done a 1471 on the phone, and there is a missed call from the dell sales line, so looks like they want to check something up

My internet confirmation orders are quite far apart, so looks like they are still processing.

Bizzare how i ordered at about 12.15 this lunchtime, and 1st confirmation didnt arrive untill 8pm, some ppl were getting theirs after a few hours!

Ah well, big thank you to the origional poster of this deal, and fingers crossed i get my other order

I was the OP and I am still waiting for a pdf even after taking 2 calls from Dell to confirm the amounts....:(

Just a big big big thank you to MikeT,you`ve no idea how much this means to me i always seem to miss out on these kind of deals,but not this time,had the Dell phonecall and received the pdf,can`t believe it I`m so happy.
If by some kind of strange irony MikeT misses out I`m sure some of the multiple buyers!!! will show their gratitude and fix him up with what he wanted---- at cost of course.Once again many thanks.

I'm absolutely gutted that I missed out on this order - believe it or not at the time this was on MSE I was actually spending time going through the Dell website trying each value code to see what was available! Then I went to bed!

But for those of you who want to throw in a PCI graphics card you can get an FX5200 PCI card from PC World using the new reserve and collect service for £44.27, or ebuyer for £36+delivery (see earlier post). Won't let you play Doom 3 at maximum settings, but will be better than the on-board graphics.
