This is not really a good deal at all compared to some of the other offers they had, also the crt monitors are pretty much worthless these days.

Might not be as good as the some of their mispriced offers, however if you can point us in the direction of a better priced basic system then please do so.

Not by any means a gaming machine but without doubt a bargain, If your looking for a basic browsing and word processing system you'd be very very hard pushed to find anything anywhere near this price. As for the crt being worthless well if your looking for resale that might apply but I think the intention of the op was to alert to a bargain not a possible stock item!!
There are many viewing this board on antiquated systems merely looking for an update and not necessarily looking to upgrade at the same time. How anyone can say a fully up and running system with 12 mths warranty for under £250 delivered to your door is not a bargain beggars belief please enlighten us as to just exactly what you are measuring against?

Sorry but I can't remember anything that wasn't a misprice that compared with this would make it a non bargain, I appreciate it may not be your idea of a bargain especially if you are looking to resell as your crt comment implies, but for others looking for a cheap plug and go system this is definately a bargain.

I agree with the last poster. I haven't seen a Dell system that cheap for ages. Even if you take the option of the 15" TFT monitor, it's still a good price.

Learn from the mistakes of others - you won't live long enough to make them all yourself.
