Things are looking up. Had phone call from an Indian sounding man this morning saying my card was declined. Seems in the panic yesterday I put in the wroing details.
Fingers crossed PDF comes soon ....
Thanks again MikeT , certainly hope you get yours. Maybe for some reason they are dealing with the backlog backwards ?! iukwim0 -
That doesn't seem to be an uncommon occurrence Mikeboy, a number of people have had a similar thing with Dell.
I myself got a phone call during the week about something else I had ordered from Dell using my switchcard. I KNOW I input the correct details as I am anal about checking the numbers etc when I'm buying online, so I don't know why it didn't go through. Just gave my cc details over the phone instead, which was fine but I still haven't had any kind of email from them.
Got a call from WW to say delivery would be next week, so order has obviously been processed.Herman - MP for all!0 -

Does An Operating System Come With Them?0
-
You get XP Home SP2 already installed, plus a Windows XP CD, which will allow you to reinstall from scratch if you wanted to. You also get the disks for the other software like Works, PowerDVD, drivers etc.You don't get medals for sitting in the trenches.0

biglugs - do you know if it also comes with a Certificate of Authenticity (COA) for Windows XP?0
-
there is no windows XP disk included in the deal, just a recovery partition with the operation system on. The COA is just a licence sticker on the side of the base unit, but it is properly licenced0
