Hi Belle, Nice to find your diary. The similarities between our missions are startlingly similar! I also have 50lbs to lose too :-)
Seems like you are doing a great job so far. Going to subscribe to your diary and absorb some of your energy and motivation. 75% of that huge debt in two years is amazing. Well done and keep up the good work!
Good luck for the job interview by the way.
Thank you, will go find yours to subscribe too. Would be great to support each other. X0 -

Belle I've jsut been catching up. Sorry things have been difficult and worrying for you.
I didnt get a chance to wish you luck with the job, but at least I can say Congratulations :j:beer::j. Well done you !!
Top Tips for night work - Take some warm clothes. The middle of the night is worse and you can often get chilly and shivery , so layering up is handy ! Pro Plus, Red Bull and it should see you through the night !
Have you got childcare sorted for the days followingthe nights, or will you need to stay awake to look after the twins ? xLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Thank you PG for the tips. Sorted for childcare as my shift doesn't start till very late at night so can sleep before working rather than in the morning if that makes sense..0 -

Blackout curtains, or a sleep mask, will be essential. You will need to sleep some during daylight hours, and it will help if you can be in the dark!
My flatmate is a night-shift worker - he loves it! Take a flask of coffee, some butties for your break, and save on spending in the canteen or vending machines etc.
Congrats and best wishes. Some days, it's just not worth chewing through the leather straps....

Evening all.. Busy day.. Dropped kids at nursery, went to tesco and picked up a few essentials.. Got a £6 off £40 voucher so will be back there next week. Went to library to get a few books and then went to get some tops for my new job. I own no tshirts. That's crazy I know, but I need something to wear and will get too hot in long sleeves. So went to the cheap and cheerful shop and got 4 tops with collars for £20. Essential, but hated spending the money.
Picked kids up, spent afternoon with them. Tonight reconciled our bank accounts which I do every Friday, printed off job application to fill in tomorrow, got another ready for posting and then a few other admin bits and pieces.. Totally knackered now.. Bring on the weekend.0 -
So job app posted, another completed tonight ready to post tomorrow.
Have shift tomorrow at new job training.. 4-11pm..not sure how I feel about it. Types of jobs I'm applying for are so totally different to what I have do, but I'm trying to get my head into a 'turn up, do the work, get paid, forget about stress situation'. I'm also desperate now to lost the pounds as I've been comfort eating so much.. So tomorrow I'm starting a healthy eating regime in earnest.
Went to see a friend today and apart from that, not much else.. Weather has been dreadful!!0
