Sure isnt that always the way :rotfl:.The loopy one has gone :j0 -
I didn't get mine until the end of July last year.
I asked them last year about the different envelope colours (as one of the options on the phone system was what colour envelope did you get?), they said brown envelopes were you could ignore if everything was correct, white ones you had to fill in (I think, possibly the other way round lol) - I got one of each, one for my old single claim, which I ignored as it was correct, and one for the newer joint claim, which I had to complete.0 -
I am also (im)patiently awaiting mine as I'm due a potential payment of a few grand lol0

I got mine yesterday, noticed thats its a little different from last yr, that if your situation hasn't changed you haven't got to ring them. xxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0

Hi
I received mine last week (dated 12th April) and I renewed on Monday. Certainly in the last 4-5 years I have always received mine towards the end of May. My circumstances haven't changed and I don't receive any other benefits so I can only assume that it is random - however, it did cross my mind that they might have sent it early because they suspected something was wrong! but then I ALWAYS worry about tax credits, its only the knowledge that I am 100% honest with my claim that keeps me sane.
I claim the childcare element, but I haven't received a letter asking me to prove my payments in the last year - perhaps I have that joy to come?!?
This year though, I was expecting the usual interrogation but the lady on the phone was lovely and it was all over in 2 minutes max! I was told that it may take up to 28 days to process and to call back after 29th May if I hadn't heard anything.

28 days, wow thats a long time to process, are you due a potential payment by any chance Lucee? (sorry to be nosey)
I last updated my details with them at the end of January this year and the called them on the 9th April with my estimated income for this tax year.
I suppose I need to stop being impatient and just wait but its so hard lol.
Thanks for keeping the thread updated

I'm glad you asked as I was wondering same. I haven't had mine yet either. When do we usually get them? I think I'm being overpaid at the minute as they are suddenly paying me more than last year.
It could be correct cte1111, my award letter from last year states that from 26/04/2012 I will be paid an extra £30 per month. It gives the income amount that they have used to work this out (which is actually more than we earned last year)0
