Hello all, I am back. I am working on a budget of £1300 for the year. I don't know my total yet will have to work it out from my spreadsheet later. I know I am badly over budget at the moment so need to come back to the thread to help me reign it in! Will report back with the numbers later.
    Have a good day everyone

 right i have had enough!!!!!!!!!! why does it SOMETIMES let me say thank-you and most of the times there is no box to click with thanks in it. I thought maybe only so many people could thank someone at once but now i see people that have only 1 or 2 people thanking them there still no box to thank them,. i hope i make sense, do i have to do something to bring to to a thank-u? i know this sounds nuts but its been driving me mad now for over a week ,,thank-u rant over xxx

if you press your refresh button it should the show you the thanks buttons. It happens to me also, i think it is to do with posts comeing through as you send yours. Hope that makes sense, it sounded better in my head.

Just got my scales out to try out the nuts n 'nanas cake and MY SCALES ARE BUST!!! Must have knocked em coming back from mums as I've been taking em each time I visited. They were ancient anyway and extremely cheap. I needed some new ones as they are inaccurate for large weights.

I just bought digital scales from Argos, down to £6 odds in the sale. It's the colour ones, I bought the purple :-)

I don't have totals yet, but I spent about £40 in MrT's yesterday afternoon. Picked up lots of YS meat for DH, two packs of Gressingham duck strips 75p each, 400g pack of stewing steak for 29p, 3 double packs of finest smoked lardons (something dh is always wanting to buy but I refuse!) for 71p each. What else.... Oh a pack of lamb steaks down to £1.29 from over £13.00 :j
Also got some packs of tomatoes down to 21p, will make some sauce with them and freeze.

Totally ignoring the fact that me and DH were starving on Sunday night and phoned some burgers from the local indian takeaway.. :o £13.00 for a late LATE dinner, but... Well I have no excuse really. Naughty zepsgal, cupboards full but we wanted burgers and that's what we bought. Naughty!!

Made another batch of 15's fridge biscuit yesterday. I can feel my spare tyre getting bigger just thinking about eating it! Should maybe limit it to one a month at most :rotfl:

Well no shopping for me, I have a terrible pain in my heel when I try to walk and cannot put my foot flat on floor. So am resting it up for today to see if it gets better.

Good excuse to be on here all day Have a flask of coffee and the fruit bowl handy.

    Good morning,

Have just been to L!dls and spent 78.08. Did get a lot of stuff but still missing bits. I might pop to MrM later in the week and get the other bits but not spend too much. I am still over budget but have reduced it since last week and already have DHs beer in the wardrobe from the big pack I bought last week ;) so shouldn't spend too much more.

JJ your micropuds sound absolutely lovely and i want to make them but am resisting temptation as since coming on this thread i am baking more and last week i put on 2 pounds! Oh well, I will maye make them for the kids and try to resist temptation :rotfl:

Lunch is LO hm soup from yesterday.

Have a nice day, off to update my sig

    jedi xxxx

ps Meg72, hope your foot feels better x

Well, I have managed 5 NSDs in a row, and have a spend of £10.37 today which topped up fresh fruit and veg. I am going to check my meal planner but hopefully I won't need much more to get through another week.

only 10 more days until I get paid, as the 20th is a Sunday this month, maybe I can actually come in at £200 for the month .... fingers crossed, I am trying hard.

No spend day for me, No spend day for me, No spend day for me and to be honest i wont be spending any until next Sunday. A bit miffed i didnt make any soup at the weeend as i had planned. Wont have time this week either. It makes an easy lunch knowing i have a pot there. Took some prawns out of the freezer and mixed with seafood sauce for my lunch, with some salad and pitta bread. Will hopefully have some leftovers from tonights chicken kebabs for lunch tomorrow.
