fozziebeartoo - I've just got my wool supplies down to three big bags, but my other craft stuff is out of control! The shelf collapsed 2 weeks ago and I haven't had the courage to look in the cupboard and sort it out yet.
Glad its not just me.......I think it breeds when I am not

Afternoon all, oh took me out this morning it was a nsd for me but not for him, he bought me a lovely coronation mug from J Lewis and we went to the garden centre where they had yellow raspberry canes. I have been after them for ages, so i am very pleased, also some more veg seeds for the garden. Just had hm rolls for lunch, two left so i expect the breadmaker will be on again shortly. Hi, Everyone
I've been missing from posting for a while as have been very busy at work and so too shattered to post in evenings. But I've now managed to catch up on the whole thread (boy, can you lot talk?!? :rotfl:)
Last week, I did a big stock up shop, mostly in L!dl but also used Mr M's and Mr A's , as I was down to my last 3 tinned tomatoes, and only about 4 tins of beans. I couldn't sleep for worrying how I'd cope if I actually ran out:rotfl:.
I'm still working my way through my freezer - can't believe how long it is taking to actually try to clear it - I filled it up in early December, and it's still 2/3rds full, though the content changes constantly depending on what I cook, and therefore need to freeze...I haven't bought anything to put in the freezer for months, which is a good thing as the whoopsies I see are not particularly good value at all now (tho still obviously better than paying full price, but only just..)
So, I have less than £30 left of my budget to last til 27th of the month, but that's fine, as I really only need veges each week from now on.
Thanks for all your comments so far. You're comments have all managed to inspire me to use up bits and pieces more effectively for this week.

I have a few additions to my budget.
£9.95 in M & $ - YS - Got 50p Corn Fed Chicken (was £8.15), bread 10p, 2 tarts 50p etc. Really pleased with how the YS is streaching my budget and I am also finding it rather addictive.
£1.60 yesterday on fruit and veg.
Also popped to HB and stocked up too. £12.19
Still need to get water during the week but I am on the special R to get me through.
Dinner last night for me and my pal was YS moroccan chicken with shredded veg. And very lovely it was too.
I am on my own tonight so don't feel like making much. Not too sure what to have. Might go for a sandwich. No buying toiletries Graduated May 2017Decluttered 2016 2469 items, 2017 1580 items :j2018 3060 itemsSealed Pot Challenge No 0380 -

Hi all, just read the last couple of pages and am feeling bad for not baking today. Mind you, Saturday's bread pudding was so big it'll easy last us til midweek!:p
Quick shop for the week at !id! for all the basics, £31.62, then mr t for frozens and yellow sticker spotting (nothing!) £4.19. Also nipped into the c00p on sun as DH wanted beer and crisps (he got 1 bottle :rotfl::rotfl:) and managed to get 5 custard donuts for 20p. Happy days!
So have spent another £39.89, sig updated.
DH is making dinner, built around 2 rashers of bacon, onions and veg. Should be interesting!:)Make £2020 in 2020 £178.81/£2020

Afternoon everyone, haven't posted in a couple of days as have been galavanting off with DH and kids enjoying the BH. It has been lovely! I was quite annoyed with myself on Friday as although it is normally a 'treat day' we do seem to spend too much on beer, choccies and sweets. Going to try and be stronger next week.
Yesterday we went to a farm (with rides etc) which I got half price tickets for and I even took a picnic. Normally we get food there which costs approx £25 and isn't great so felt good for taking our own. We then went to a local town and the kids were getting hungry again but luckily as it was 5pm all the pasty shops started selling everything for a pound so spent £4 which wasn't bad as could have been worse!
Anyway, enough rambling but would just like to say how this site is helping me change how I do things. We have hardly got anything in for tea tonight but instead of popping to the shops, we had eggs (from the chickens), hm chips and I also had some leftover bread dough from the day before yesterday and so i bunged it in the oven to make herby bread.
Okay, will definitely go now
