I've just replied to your other post. Because you contacted them they think they've found a mug, ignore them from now on, they'll get the message and go try their luck elsewhere.0

MSE fan and Hecrock, you have NOTHING to worry about from this bunch of monkeys called parking lie/spy,as has been said many many times before on this forum, dont even bother to contact them to "plead" with them that you should be "let off" the so called "fine....its not a fine its an invoice and totally unenforcable in a court of law,let them do all the running, after all we know what happens when you keep running eventually we run outa gas and stop...well thats exactly what happens with these idiots when they finally get the message from you that you're ignoring their threat-ograms and not going to pay them a penny then they stop/give up etc usually after 4 letters, ive parked in these so called "controlled"car parks many times without bothering to key in my details but alas PE are not taking up the bait with me.
Number one advice? IGNORE all the letters/threat-ogramms that are sent to you, have a look at the stickies here to find what sort of letters to expect, they rarely differ and you will be able to easily tell the difference between these and any issued by police/traffic wardens, let them spend money chasing you.
Also remember to tell everyone you know about these scamming pigs and their tactics and worry no more, the bonus from this is that the more people who get "caught" that then come on this forum means that the more people get to find out the truth about these b####ds but its such a pity that some people actually get frightened and pay up and thats how these trough feeders make their money....spread the news!!0 -

Thanet Scouts attended the St. Georges Day parade. Some of the adults allegedly and unwittingly overstayed the time allowed in the Aldi car park. They then received parking charge notices from Parking Eye. I attach a draft of a letter I have suiggested they send and I don't think they will hear any more! (If they do, I'm ready for them!) I took on a private company some time ago, AFTER the charge had been paid, I issued a summons and, just before the court date they paid up

Well done for taking a PPC to court & getting a refund after someone had been silly enough to pay it!
Would like to see your letter, if you can't post a link as a newbie just break it by removing the http:// and we will convert it back to a working link.
You probably know most people are best ignoring a PPC completely but certain letters about Court and 'harassment' are good groundwork for a future case taken against the PPC for compensation!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi
Sadly, I didn't find this thread until after I had sent a letter of appeal. As you will know, my appeal was rejected!
Do I ignore them or pay up?
Your help is appreciated.

Somehow you've found a thread that hasn't been updated for 3 months. Did you bother to look for the hundreds of more recent ones, all of which have the same advice - IGNORE?0
-
Even this old thread says ignore. The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.
