just had a thought:idea: :rotfl: why not advertise the wraps and give the nappies away for free, they cant stop you giving something away free with your ad :D eg.2 Waterproof Wraps, 3 Plastic Pants, and 2 Kooshies Long Sleeved Plastic Bibs with Pockets + i will throw in 19 used kooshies nappies for free  thats the solution!;)

hiya everyone :hello: i just discovered this morning after reading someone else`s post that ebay have decided to stop allowing the sale of used reusable nappies  many many moneysaving old stylers since time began have used reusable nappies as at one time thats all there was..there was no choice. todays parents use reusables as not only is it money saving it is also a very green thing to do by saving the landfills being choked up with plastic nappies that take an eternity to decompose and also because it is by far the cheapest way to buy/use nappies. buying second hand nappies gives you a chance to try different brands cheaply and find out which brand/size suits your child cheaply.
ebay have decided to stop allowing the auctions of used reusable nappies because somehow it comes under the category of used underwear now
if you could spare a few seconds i would really appreciate it if you could sign this petition to try and save us the option of buying used nappies if we so wish!
    many thanks...angchris

Whats their reason angchris? I thought it was perhaps used, but can see it is new as well, it seems a really odd decision.

You can still buy and sell on http://www.thenappylady.co.uk if you go to classifieds. This service is completely free. I have used it several times and would say that it is as easy if not easier than ebay, you just have to put a realistic price when you are selling

Is this because of the adults nappies being sold by some ? I remember coming across them when searching for baby items before.
One day I might be more organised...........

i wouldnt of thought so:confused: i`m not saying for one minute that some of the adult nappies don`t end up in dubious hands i have seen a few programmes on tv  what are they thinking of! :rotfl: but each to their own etc  my oh quite often buys the adult nappies as he is a carer to a mentally handicapped adult that wets every night without fail, they do have their place and are very useful to everyone concerned in his care.

Surely practically everything sold on ebay could be misused in some way if the buyer is of that mind?

Sex toys and fetish clothing seem to be ok though.

Does anyone else see a double standard here?
Oh dear, here we go again.
  • I have signed. I think this is utterly disgusting!!
