The male I just spoke to wanted to know what my free sat card number was and when I said I didn't have it he wanted to know my postcode, telephone number, house number, my name, my husbands name, if we had sky at the mo and he said he could see we had it. He also wanted to know where I heard about the offer. He said I was a current sky customer and there was no offers for me and that I could not avail of the offer. He was not very friendly.

All this to see if there was any new offers for existing customers.

If that's the case the offer didn't last long.

WHAT, its been a week now, over 22,500 views to this post and the offer is still valid to the people who it was designed for.... freesat customers, a lot of other people have managed to blag the same deal and the ones who haven't have generally either given incorrect or conflicting information against what has been advised by people with a bit of side knowledge. With 22,500 posts it is hardly surprising that Sky have become aware of the loophole and are now asking more questions......... still reckon its all down to who you speak to at Sky and how clued up you are before picking up the receiver......... good luck

Sky are aware of it because their loyal customers like me have complained and told them about this website, again like I said the other day this website is meant to be about honest moneysaving, this thread is full of dishonest people.

More or less the same for me.

The girl also asked if I heard of the offer "on the Internet" and I said No, of course. They must've gottn wise. Ah, well.

Maybe if you call and get the right operator....

The offer DIDN'T last long, if it was supposed to last to the end of March and it is now "dead in the water".

    Oh, really!?!

That's very honest of you to own up but what do you care if Sky have given this offer to those other than it was meant for??
    Why did you complain?

I am a loyal customer too, but I didn't warn Sky. And you didn't have to tell them about this website. Why did you? It doesn't make sense!

And anyway, this IS honest moneysaving. We honestly want to save money...! Is that not that we're all trying to do..?

Then, I question Sky's 'honesty'... how can they treat loyal customers with zip after years paying top dollar when we didn't get the chance to take up a bargain like this and never will?

I understand that they have to offer introduction offers, but for a WHOLE YEAR?? That's like sticking 2 fingers up at it's current customer base! Well, same to them! :(

And all the people that should be entitled to get it wont be able to because of people off here and the other websites that had this offer.

"dead in the water" from someone who has a current subscription, is ineligible for the offer and got knocked back by Sky, sour grapes by someone who didn't realise the implications

i'll give you £50 if you're a freesat customer withoput a current subscription and are told you can't have this deal ...............

The deal is still there if you qualify or done research
