yes, that'll be fine but the Sky+ manual enabling requires you to give them the serial number of the box and they'll already have it on record, i had that when i phoned, she told me they'd already got the box details but it wasn't a problem

I just called and was told that becuase I wasn't on their system as being sent a leaflet. But I was offered either 50% off for 6 months or a new install at 33% off.

I've gone for the 50% for 6 months, it's a new 12 month contract so I'm mulling over whether to activate it or not, but at least I get the ball rolling.

I just need to cancel and reduce my existing package now.

Quick question?

We have sky + (used alot!) and I wan't to take advantage of this deal. Contract is in OH name so that's not a problem, we also do have a free sat system aswell. (gonna claim OH has left me and I'm taking over the sky +,not that he has!)

If I am succesful and I get my new viewing card, when they pair it to the box will I loose my programs from the box? (a possible disaster)

Also can I cancel the existing contract if I know the password to the account?

hi can anyone confirm that having a telewest telephone line is okay for this deal? I've checked and i have all the other equipment up and running...?

Just cancelled my existing account, wasn't offered any money off, he did try to convince me to change my package but he failed to spot that monetarily that woudln't save me anything :rolleyes:
Cancelled on 6th April, so my next payment will only be £4.

I'm going to wait until the last minute until I activate the new card in case they call me with an offer...

can anyone tell me if i could get this, my hubby left and owed sky approx £80, the sat was downgraded then to ftv, could i go ahead and get this in my name now he has gone or would they want the balance paying even though it was in his name not mine?????
