Welcome wrote:Sky is no way value for money.. check out the usa one. theres are $40 and you get loads of channels and also BB and telephone etc.
Private healthcare in the USA isn't value for money
Buying petrol in this country isn't value for money
Full Sky equates to £10ish a week equals about 4 pints of beer in a pub that has carpets equals two bottles of wine..... each to his own but you correct in my opinion but this shouldn't detract from the post about this offer. The other day somebody felt the need to post about a packet of coriander being 39p instead of 89p, like i said, each to his own0 -

That's very honest of you to own up but what do you care if Sky have given this offer to those other than it was meant for??
Why did you complain?
I am a loyal customer too, but I didn't warn Sky. And you didn't have to tell them about this website. Why did you? It doesn't make sense!
And anyway, this IS honest moneysaving. We honestly want to save money...! Is that not that we're all trying to do..?
Then, I question Sky's 'honesty'... how can they treat loyal customers with zip after years paying top dollar when we didn't get the chance to take up a bargain like this and never will?
I understand that they have to offer introduction offers, but for a WHOLE YEAR?? That's like sticking 2 fingers up at it's current customer base! Well, same to them!
And to hell with anyone that suffers because of the blaggers.
Why should I not of told sky about this website?Have you got a job yet?
NO? Then :shhh:0 -
And I thought MSE was about saving money , not fighting to give it to a rich foreign bloke, who bought up the programmes the Brits were watching for FREE and them made them rush out to PAY him for the "privilege" to still keep watching.????????????????????????????????????????????????
We are a strange or maybe foolish lot, for accepting the situation.:rolleyes2
After all there are only 24 hrs in a day, use them wisely.ac's lovechild0 -

MSE is about saving money, but not through dishonesty. :rolleyes2 :Have you got a job yet?

weymuffred wrote:But it is people that are constantly blagging deals off sky every month that are making it more expensive for the loyal customers.
That's a myth perpetuated to keep us all in line, it's used in lots of circumstances to justify the charges we pay.
A bit like ID card will fight terrorism, one has nothing to do with the other. I'd also have to repeat, if the price was reasonable people wouldn't blag it, so there would consequently be more money in the long term.
Sky are a classic short term company, riding on the wave of public indifference, but they have a shock coming with Freeview PVR and Virgin. Once they've lost people to Freeview they'll have a torrid time getting them back.0 -

MoneySaving is about cutting bills not cutting back. It's about being a sassy consumer. Companies try to screw us for profits. MoneySaving shows you how to screw them back

weymuffred wrote:Wrong attitude to have. I am happy for people to save money if it is done honestly.
just had a quick look at some of your posts and it seems you were happy to agree to R&R from Tesco even though this was actually for customers who were genuinely overcharged !!!!!!!!
I hate to burst your bubble but sky already know about this site & hotdeals, and if you think about it they are making money from both sites - it is better to have the money from these deals than have cancelled customers - no revenue for them. They are perfectly aware that a deal like this gets spread on the internet.
As Ive posted before if someone is prepared to pay the full amount ANY company will take the money. You need to vote with your feet and walk away from a service. Everyone who has got this deal is prepared to do this. Those who have got the deal and are still customers have taken the step to do something about the price they pay - This cannot in anyones view be wrong.
THIS IS A MONEY SAVING SITE - Sky make the choice to offer this deal they do not have a customer standing over them forcing them to do it.
Ive missed deals in the past but Im not bitter I just wait for the next good deal - example I really wanted a £50 ps2 from currys or asda but I cant get one - but im not throwing my teddies out my pram, Im pleased for them that got it - even though many are ebaying them, good on them. Ill wait for the next good offer and try again. Thanks to everyone who posts comps :T0
