Mothers of boys - when do you

My 11 yr old has a religious friend who isn't allowed to be naked around anyone (incl family). he sleptover at ours, i called my son to bring me a towel in when i was in bath. friend said to son "did you see her naked body?! that's disgusting. why did she make you do that?!"
I just want my boys to have respect, be confident about their body but understand what is private and what is not.
All my family and friends have girls, can you tell?

My eldest was about 11 whe she started really wanting privacy! She doesn't mind walking in on me in the bath, and I don't mind getting changed infront of her, and she'll get changed infront of me but bathroom on her part in a no go now! My son is 7 and I have to ask him to put his clothes on, he really likes being nude still, hopefully he'll grow out of that before he hits his teens!0

Round about 6 or 7 for the toilet, and about 11 for the bathroom, I think. We still got changed together when we were camping or sharing a family room on holiday but it just became natural to turn away or sit with our backs to each other when dressing etc.0

i think everyone in this house wants to go at same time....
Yes, lucky enough to have 3 (unless you're the one who does the cleaning, like me:()
No, I meant the deed of using the toilet, rather than the room itself. They wanted to pooh in peace from about age 6-ish

Thought so!
If there's only one room for 4 of you to wash and 'go' and you're all getting ready at the same time, toilet privacy is hard to get!
Think i need a new house!0 -
My boys are 15 and 13 and they don't seem to care. They go wandering from bedrooms to bathroom in the nuddy and wander in when I'm getting dressed without batting an eyelid! Here I go again on my own....0

Our 22 yr old wanders round how he wants, as do we, it can be disconcerting to female visitors when he wanders through in his boxers on his way to the kitchen. (or is that to do with him being 6ft 6in and a weight lifter)0

They'll soon let you know when they want to have privacy in the bathroom.
I have two boys aged 11 and 8 years old and we have always been open with them. My 11 yr old doesn't like anyone in the bathroom when he's bathing. But he'll quite happily leave the door open when he's doing a number one!
My 8 year old walks around in the nuddy most of the time, but both of just walk around the house with their boxers on. They see me in my underwear as they always in the bedroom when i'm getting dressed. Buts thats just cause they like to talk me, its the shame when i'm the shower.
We have a policy of no locked doors in our house, i like the idea that no matter what we always feel safe, commfortable and secure in they own home.
Just enjoy it because soon the bathroom argumnets start! But its all fun, i know ours are

My son started getting careful of his privacy when he hit puberty really, before that we all just strode around nekkid. Funnily enough though, it didn't work the other way round and he was happy to walk in on me in the bath/dressing etc for a few more years. We had no lock on the bathroom door as it didn't shut properly and it got to the point where I started feeling uncomfortable and asked him not to come in any more. I don't know why really, it started seeming weird once he was moving out of childhood, so at around 13 or so? Not so much the getting dressed bit, but laying there exposed in the bath trying to have a conversation.Cash not ash from January 2nd 2011: £2565.:j
