Aw thanks Granny and mummytogirls that's very sweet.
Welfare Rights is closed til 7th Jan.
We have been to softplay and both boys ran round like loons so objective achieved. I then nipped to chemist and bought iron tablets just incase they make a difference. Won't be able to see a Dr until at least monday but might seek out the rapid access number I was given by the hospital and see what they think XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Hi PLMBL, please think about some advice from my midwife (early last century, but still relevant). "If you can sit down, do so, if you can sit down you can lie down, so do that."
On the iron-tabs front, if you are feeling breathless, you're probably iron deficient. I used to have the most horrendous TOM and would be anaemic several times a year. If you are taking iron-tabs, also increase your fibre so you don't get bunged up (iykwim).
The carers allowance sounds ideal for 2013, and will take the pressure off MIL. She may then agree to having the DS's to stay overnight occasionally, which will be like mini-holidays for you, and you'll get a lie in :shhh:.
Hugs for you, and best wishes for a peaceful New Year for you all. What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?0 -
Thanks satchmo, the breathless thing makes a lot of sense. I thought I was just fat and unfit
.
I'm not so sure MIL would put herself out to have the boys overnight, but if she wasn't needed so often to look after everybody for me while I was working, then I daresay she would have them on occasions during the day so DH and I could have some chill out time or go somewhere just the two of us.
Will definitely up the fibreXx

BIG HUGS PLMBL, You are such in demand, from your husband and your children when you are as much in need as they are.
Would you possibly be able to have a heart to heart with mother or MIL and see if they could maybe have the children for the weekend in the near future.
Having a miscarriage is a traumatic experience and takes alot of tender loving care to recover from. Unfortunately your hubby has his own issues to deal with and I feel VERY worried that you have no-one to lean on. Make sure you un-burden your self to a friend or relative and don't bottle everything up. I often get short of breath when I get stressed out.
Take care hun, just don't forget to find a way to get some time for yourself somewhere sometime xxxx0 -
Thanks Steph, I'm not alone, I have some good friends and a lovely sister, but as much as I love my Mum she is busy with her own life. I don't know that I'd manage to leave my boys for a whole weekend anyway, but I can certainly see if someone will have them for best part of a day.
Thank you everyone for your concern. The virtual hugs have really cheered me up today XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Feeling better again today. Thanks again for yesterday folks Xx
Managed to work today with no major dramas. I asked my Mum to have the boys for a few hours so DH wouldn't have to deal with them all day, which she did do. DH then stayed with his Mum who was well enough to see him today.
Went into the shop as a customer when I finished work and got a few bargains in the sale to put away as presents to give throughout the year. Also bought myself a new jumper for £8. It's the kind of jumper that you think is giving you a hug when you wear it so I couldn't resist. Original price was £20.
Received the LTSB bill in the post today. Absolutely loved seeing the list of transactions - every single one said 'Payment received, thank you' after itIn the last 1 month statement period I've made 8 payments to them, in various amounts from £3.32 up to £200, thanks to the extra payment every week challenge. Is it wrong that I get some kind of sick satisfaction that it's costing LTSB money in extra ink to print my statements, with a list of transactions that aren't for their money making gain?!

Another lovely pre 6am start with DS2 so after sitting round feeling sorry for myself and reading MSE, I've been inspired to clean out the fridge/freezer and tin cupboard so I can do an inventory and start 2013 the way I plan to continue. Wish me luck :rotfl:.Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Good luck on your cleaning/inventory.
I think we should have a competition to see how many meals we can get out of what is currently in our freezers/cupboards. I have been shocked by how much I have found.
Years ago I had a friend who had five sons and she refused to buy a freezer as she said it cost more to feed the freezer than to feed her boys. It was before they days of sell by/use by dates that give us all bargains now.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Hi PLMBL
Just caught up again, I hope you didn't buy iron supplements from a health food shop. I made that mistake once, they were the size of horse tranquilizers and tasted awful. I soldiered on until I noticed someone I worked with was taking comparitively tiny sugar coated ones. I'm sure you have more sense.
I second everyone who has said you should be sitting down whenever you can. I also think Carer's Allowance is definitely the way to go for you now, standing in a shop must be so draining and hard on your feet. I know what you mean about wanting to be something other than a mum/carer/wife but at the moment you need to be concentrating on your health I think. Lady days lasting that long must be awful.Barclaycard [STRIKE] £2770 [/STRIKE] now £2690.
