Glad it helped xGranny, hope you don't mind I've pinched your prayer to send to a friend who's brother died this week.
Hugs all round xx
Don't mind at all, hope it helps your friend at this sad time xplease-let-me-be-lucky wrote: »We've had a nice day so far despite the sad occassion. Lovely meal with my sister and her partner at lunchtime, and they insisted on paying!! So all it cost us was diesel and 40p to park. :j
Mum phoned from holiday while we were out and left a message to say she'd lit a candle for Dad so that was nice (they divorced before he died but remained friendly).
DS is in the local paper today along with all the other Beavers, Cubs and Scouts so that's nice.
And the snow has melted yay!!
I'm off to cringe in a corner as that's a positive post and usually something bad happens after one of thoseXx
Glad you had a good day and bless your mum.

I managed my 6 hour shift at work without problem today, but I'm mighty glad it's over!
I was given a £20 giftcard for 'all my hard work this year' :rotfl:. I'm very grateful for anything free though!! Used it to pay towards my shopping, which included clothes to be sent as Xmas gifts to Cousin's children, and will transfer the £20 to debts.
DS2 is loaded with cold. He has been very unsettled since he went to bed, I hope for his sake and mine, that he sleeps through now and feels better tomorrow.
Going to try and get a mega load listed on eb@y tomorrow to make the most of free listing again. I've decided against a bootsale this side of Xmas, but I desperately need the space, so if it doesn't sell on eb@y it'll either go to charity or up into the loft. Next job is to redecorate our bedroom but that can't happen until the pile is gone.
Hope everyone is having a good night. I've been watching the Xfactor final and I think the best 2 went through!Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

DS2 certainly didn't have a good night
I had to go in and see him 4 times in 5 hours and I eventually gave up and got up with him at 5.30am. He's been in a real grouch since then though.
DH got up at 8 so I went for another lie down for an hour. Don't know if I feel better or worse for doing so!
Think we are going to meet up with my Mum, Grandma and Auntie today, taking MIL with us. Mum got back from her hols last night and I haven't seen anyone for weeks with being poorly, so I'm looking forward to it.Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Thanks Granny, do they do a hubby sized one too? :rotfl:
We met up with everyone earlier which was great. Grandma gave me £10 to pay for what we had and it came to £10.40 so total spends for the day was a mere 40p.
Took a few broken bits and pieces to the tip when we got back. They've been in the way since before I got poorly and it feels good to have them gone. Afterwards we all watched the DVD of 'Brave' which was fab. For all it's a kids film it really spoke to me about we how we all create our own fate and destiny. It put things into perspective and made we feel all warm and fuzzy. (Trying not to sound like a new age crackpot here!!).
Tonight I've attacked the bootsale pile. I have bags of stuff for the charity shop tomorrow which I will deliver along with the donations that the Beavers have made. We are doing the Promise badge at the minute which is all about trying your best and helping others. We talked about children who won't have a good christmas or presents this year and they decided amongst themselves to all choose a toy to donate. Bless them, they can be so cute!
I haven't listed anything on eb@y yet though.

Hi Be Lucky, :hello:
Glad to hear you've had a lovely MSE day - and done loads of clearing out too; well done!please-let-me-be-lucky wrote: »I haven't listed anything on eb@y yet though.
Umm, think you've missed it; not much point in putting items on if the auction end time is too late in the evening..0 -
I totally agree Robin. To be honest I think it's been my subconscious saying they will get delayed with the christmas post anyway so not to bother. I might just put them in the loft until after new year. XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Sounds like a good plan.
..But now you've got me worried that my parcels won't make it; oops better try and sort 'em out tomorrow.0 -
Oops re parcels, my sister nearly had a meltdown in the Post Office when the chap very helpfully (not) said the last day for guaranteed delivery was 2 days ago. Her daughter moved to Perth in May, had her 2nd baby in under 12 months, and DS is missing her/the babies terribly. She went home and howled. What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?0

 Oh your poor sister! ..Think if I'd been her, I'd have sent the parcel anyway [fingers crossed] then tried to find some small gifts on-line - is there an Aussie Etsy site, for example? - which could be sent direct, just in case the other parcel didn't arrive in time.0
