When I asked for luck I didn't mean the bad variety!!!

Well you knew it had to go wrong didn't you??!!
Just got home from hospital after a pretty epic blood loss just after my last post. For a while they talked about admitting me and putting me on an antibiotic drip, but they've decided I can come home.

Too late now, but could your Pharmacy deliver? They deliver my mum's 'scrips. Hugs for you, and please take care of yourself. You are the mainstay of your family, after all. xxWhat would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?0

Thanks satchmo. They don't deliver but in future I will ask someone else to collect them if the situation arises.
I'm not doing too well tonight, lots of tears. While I was in hospital the chav in the next cubicle was in for an abortion and I heard lots of things I will never forget. The ward Sister was then good enough to suggest moving me, for which I'm eternally grateful, but the damage had been done. I'm so upset and keep reliving it all even though I'm trying not to. And there's lots of baby talk around due to the Royal announcement. I'm thrilled for them but I keep thinking that I should have my 20 week scan next week.
It feels like I've just lost the baby all over again.

Hi PLMBL..sorry to hear about yet more trauma. Your 'neighbour' in the next bed needs to have her attitude examined..everyone knows that these wards are full of people in for different things and the emotional stuff that goes with that..no wonder you feel angry and sad. You have every right to.
Just was coming on here to say I read an interesting article today on the Brain Injury Group (BIG).. in The Times. Basically it's a support group of women with partners who have suffered brain injuries and they are supporting each other and trying to make things easier for affected families. Whilst many of the founders seemed to have partners with injuries arguably worse than your partners (luckily) I did wonder if they might be worth an approach? Just a thought anyway.
Hugs. Hope things get better soon.

Oh PLMBL, your experience in the hospital sounds absolutely horrendous! No wonder you're in tears. It's terrible the things you hear when you're on a ward for whatever reason.
There's nothing I can say to make you feel better, so have a dodgy hug from me and er, this Lotso' huggin' bear I happen to have next to me. :grouphug:Barclaycard [STRIKE] £2770 [/STRIKE] now £2690.

Be Lucky, I've sent you a pm.0

Thank you brizzle and fudgie for your kind words, and to Robin for such an amazing pm.
I'm feeling better today and more on an even keel. It's like my body expelled what was causing the problem with the bleed I had yesterday and I suddenly feel quite human again.
Brizzle I shall look into the support group, thank you XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Today has been up and down. It started with DH all depressed and in a bad mood. He was really snappy and said he couldn't go out because he looked a mess!! !!!!!!??!! His Mum kept having a go at him yesterday about his hair. This is neither called for (he's 34 and it looked tousled not messy) or necessary (appointment had been made already for him and DS1 at the hairdressers this afternoon which MIL knew). So basically I got the backlash for MIL's sniping.
Anyway, I told him I was going xmas shopping and he could do as he pleased. He ended up coming and we had a nice time out, however it started to snow heavily so we came home. DH then went all panicky and said he didn't want to get his haircut tonight :mad:. I was like 'don't even dare spend half the day in a rage that your hair is a mess and the other half in a panic about getting it cut'. I mean, is it just my hormones and I'm a moody cow, or is that just bloody pathetic?? (*slopes off to a corner to sulk then returns as her usual caring self*).
Traffic into town tonight was a nightmare due to the earlier snow. Cars were stuck and sliding everywhere. I hate it when it's like that. Nevertheless we made it and they got their haircuts and we saw Fenwick's window (large department store in Newcastle which decorates it's huge outdoor windows with a christmas anamatronic scene). We took the boys to Burger K1ng for tea and then got stuck in traffic again on the way home. It took 90 mins to do a 15-20min journey.
Healthwise I'm feeling good XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

So after yesterday's whingefest I'm feeling more calm
.
We still have pretty thick snow but otherwise all is well. I called my boss as I'm due at work tonight, and we agreed I should just do a couple of hours to get back into the swing of things, which I'm pleased about. Will have to set off quite early because of the snow though.
