  • DWP confirmed that the money is because I've earned less than they expected me to :T. Always like it when they owe us money!

New bedroom carpet went down today and it's LUSH :j.

Gained 3lbs at fat class this week :mad:.

We've had a weird mix of scorching sunshine and heavy hail/thunder/lightening storms.

Think that sums the day up! Xx

Hi Lucky - just catching up with you. Carpets sound lovely - I love the smell of new carpet! Mr SA got a letter from DWP to say they'd paid £1.65 into bank and to ring if he wanted to discuss it. Good news on the £80 :) every little helps! :( to the weight gain but I'm sure you'll soon shed it, you've done so well so far.

Trust Mr Lucky to get hernia! Is there no end to it! Men eh!

  • £1.65 SA!! Hope you got on the phone and spent £2 trying to find out why?! :rotfl:.

Went back to the gym today after 9 days off due to decorating and school things etc eating in to the time we normally go. Hopefully that will help the weight loss this week. Back again on Friday.

MiL's friend came round this afternoon to hang some curtains in my bedroom which she has donated to us. They are from her old house and VERY expensive and beautiful (she is an interior designer) so it's a very generous gift. Our room is unrecognisable now and I keep getting a shock each time I go in there at how beautiful it is. It's like a sumptuous hotel room and I absolutely love it.

Been to our scouts AGM tonight. Today has also been a NSD Xx

I love the sound of the sumptuous curtains. Added to the new carpet, it all sounds perfectly lovely, and I'm so happy that you now have a beautiful bedroom.
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?
