Thanks mummy! I realise I sound a total whinge and that of all people DH should be cut some slack for the things he says etc as his version of events is rarely true, but it's made me feel pretty rubbish. He went on and on and on about it. Just when I thought I was starting to look better too
. Must be mistaken!!! Xx

Long time lurker here just wanting to spur you on, you are indeed amazing for all you have managed to achieve the last couple of years. You are a fabulous wife and mum and to even be thinking about your diet with everything else you have going on is impressive never mind the fantastic 2 and a half stone you have already lost and on a tight budget! Don't forget you needed new t-shirts the other day as you have shrunk so much so it's definitely working! Do your best to shrug off what hubby said and treat yourself to a bit of choccy this Easter! The good weather and plenty of walking will burn it off!0

Treat his comments as a spur to carry on. Take your compliments from everyone else as your hubby is just not capable just now of doing it. Bloody annoying for you though. I can see a huge difference in you though :rotfl:5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Oh Lucky, sorry DH went on and on - I think that's another symptom of head injuries, or maybe just a trait of your DH and my exDH. Come to think of it, my exDH could talk and talk and talk before his accident, and was often guilty of not thinking before he spoke then, too.
The injustice of the situation is that your DH won't remember what he's said to you and you'll still be hurting.
His remarks were unjust, however, as you've done very, very well on your weight loss, please remember that. Men do lose lbs much easier than women, due to physiological differences. Just another of mother nature's jokes.
I bet I haven't lost any weight when I weigh myself tomorrow morning, despite having to go up and down 5 flights of stairs three times on Thursday, then walking miles on Friday, and running at parkrun this morning. Ah well, I must be getting fitter as my time was 3 minutes faster than last week. I'm still 5 minutes slower than last year's PB, so there's lots of room for improvement.
Happy Easter to you and your ducklings big and small. What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?0 -
I think your weight loss in awesome.

Thank you so much for your lovely comments everyone! Wish I'd read them all BEFORE I'd buried my sorrows in half an Easter egg yesterday
. Why do I do that??!! I feel miserable coz I'm fat so I'm going to eat something that makes me fatter! It makes no sense.
Anyway! Yesterday I had 90 glorious minutes all alone!! DH's best friend took him and the boys out with him to Westgate Road which is basically a row of motorbike shops. He needed a bit for his bike so they made a bit of a trip of it and looked at all the new bikes in the showrooms. It wouldn't have been my preferred choice of trip out for them but hey, they enjoyed it and I got some time alone. It's been 6 months since that happened so I made the most of it!!
Work last night wasn't too bad. Because the store is closed today we were told not to keep the counter full of pizzas so basically we had half the amount of work to do. Can't remember the last Saturday shift when we weren't running round like blue-bottomed flies!!
Came home and set the Easter trail for the boys to wake up to this morning. They were thrilled with all the eggs, clues and main presents. The Easter Bunny owes me big style!!
