Thanks MiT and Brizzle!
Post mortem on yesterday;
Boys had a fab day and got everything they wanted. I've not heard either of them say they "wished they'd got ....". This is a great result but they have both been given money by various family members, so they can buy themselves anything they happen to think of.
DH had a wobbler (panic/anxiety) which thankfully passed after a while but it put me on a bit of a downer in the morning. Everything weighed heavy on my shoulders and I felt 'poor me'. I had a few tears in the shower though and gave myself a talking to. The rest of the day was genuinely lovely though and we all thoroughly enjoyed it.
We went to MiL's for lunch and Mum and her OH came too. Mum had already given DH and I money for Christmas but they had all the boys' gifts with them and a surprise for us all - 4 tickets to the pantomime on Saturday!! Looking forward to that. MiL also gave us money and some yummy yankee candles. I love candles so that was well received! As for gifts from DH and the boys, I bought a scarf and a necklace with my birthday gift vouchers and gave them to DH to get the boys to wrap them. They were so excited that they had a surprise for me, I didn't have the heart to tell them I'd bought them myself!!
DH wants to spend all his money on getting his tattoo finished . Mine will go on bills and decorating probably!
Mum and OH left MiL's to go to his daughter's at about 4.30pm and we came home at around 6pm. DH's friend then called round and he stayed until about 9pm. He helped me drink a bottle of prosecco I got for Christmas from one of the Beavers, as there was no way I'd drink it on my own and DH doesn't drink at all. It was a nice chilled out end to the evening and thankfully I have no form of hangover today. For someone who only has a drink about 3 times a year, I'm mighty pleased with that!!
Yesterday was a NSD (obviously!!) so I've met target again this month! Today probably will be too as we have to plans to go anywhere, but will update on that later.
Happy Boxing Day everyone XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Thank you beanie and mummy! We stayed in all day yesterday so another NSD achieved. MiL had sent us home with food from Christmas Day so I just did a buffet lunch for the 4 of us with that and stuff I had in. MiL and her friend came round in the afternoon but MiL didn't seem very happy and they didn't stay too long.
Today is my Mum's birthday and we are all going out for lunch. More food!! Think I will have gained about half a stone this week. I'm at work tonight but the weather is awful here and if I'm honest I'm hoping for a call to say don't go in as they are too quiet. I can but dream!!
Been up since 6.20am with DS2 and DH and DS1 have just surfaced. Think I might sneak back to bed and see how long it takes for anyone to notice!!! XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Merry Christmas!!! :santa2:
Glad you MIL sorted you all out for food - it is brilliant when they do that AND it saves some pennies :money:- win win!
What a lovely surprise with the 4 panto tickets! Especially at this time of year, the kids will LOVE IT! And it fills the void between Christmas and new year!
I am in work TODAY! Ohh dear, it is not fun and the place is dead, but at least I could walk in late and leave early and it is acceptable! xx0 -
So pleased to hear you've had a lovely Christmas Lucky! I can totally empathise with you on your "poor me" moment in the shower - every so often I have the same feeling. You soon snap out of it though and count your blessings. Hope next year will be a good one for you. SAxxI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

You too SA. I feel bad for feeling "poor me" when there are others facing far worse than I am. You never hear KJ moan for example! You yourself are much more entitled to feel 'poor me' than I am. I think weeks of broken sleep are to blame and if my cycles are going to be back to normal this month then potentially I could be hormonal too.
BW I hope you got an early dart from work yesterday. I went to work too but it was fairly quiet. My boss wasn't in so that's why I hadn't got a phonecall to say don't bother going in. We were definitely overstaffed but I will be pleased I went in come payday.
Meal yesterday was delicious and my Uncle paid the bill and then insisted he only wanted £20 from the 4 of us! Rough estimate means we saved £15-£20 there.:T.
Tried to have a lie in this morning but it appears a law has been passed that forbids it. Gave up on that after the 4th bursting in with a problem that needed solving in 20mins. And that was just DH!!
Pantomime this afternoon.
