Poor MIL, then again if he'd lasted until 29th she probably feel bad on both days.
Why not ask the hairdresser for restyle and semi permanent colour, that way colour doesn't need maintenance as it grows out
glad you are having a quiet day today

they never gave up charging us and some months we were paying a few quid off only as they charged that much ! P.s I hope you manage your NSD
Hi DFW, yes I snowball! One debt of £545 outstanding is to my sister which is 0% and on a 'pay me back when you can' basis. I've reduced this from the original £1k amount by a fiver here and a tenner there. I don't have to pay her anything but I like to make a payment fairly regularly so she knows I haven't forgotten.
Debt 2 is to Barclaycard £2659 (in my name) and is 0% until February. I've looked at that today and I can move another £1300 to this card at 0% for a 1.9% fee until Feb also. According to the snowball that will save me £400 in interest for the life of the debt so it seems a good idea.
Debt 3 is LTSB £6175 (DH's name) and is 22.45%. I have again this afternoon looked at moving this to another company, but using the MSE eligibility checker it looks like no one will give DH a deal. This isn't unsurprising as that has been the case since the accident.
So as it stands, I think I will move the £1300 and at least it saves us something and we will just continue to throw everything else at LTSB. Maybe when I look for a renewal 0% deal in Feb I might be able to move more.Poor MIL, then again if he'd lasted until 29th she probably feel bad on both days.

I agree re FIL and at least it is all done on one day!
Will have a chat with the hairdresser about something 'different'!
Managed the NSD :T First month I've met target.
One of my neighbours has just delivered some fresh tomatoes and green beans from their greenhouse/garden :j. I love stuff when it is not only super fresh, but free tooXx

Tis Friday again!
That's good you've another £1300 you can transfer to 0%. It'll make a bigger dent in the  interest with LTSB.
:T:T to the NSD target! Tis really tough!!!
Oh yum! LOVE fresh tomatoes! My dad has a huge veg garden at the farm and he grows all manner of stuff. Last time I called he'd 1lb of peas in the boot of the car - from the 15lb he'd pulled that day - which left another 30lb odds to pull within a few days again!!!
Would absolutely love to have a veg patch where we are now. Very little garden at the back and OH has it bunged with gorgeous flowers!
Hope you have a happy FridayWealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out0 -
Ooh £400 saved is not to be sniffed at
definitely a good idea to move it across then :T
I wish I knew someone local with fresh produce! The only people I know locally live in identical houses to me with tiny gardens like me lol so no where to grow it all! One day i'll have a garden big enough to grow some myself

I've made the £1300 transfer which should be processed by Monday
.
DH round at MIL's helping her paint her kitchen so the boys and I went to visit my friend and her daughter this morning which was lovely. Came home for lunch and had a jacket potato with salad using some of the tomatoes we were given yesterday which are gorgeous! Brought the washing in off the line and hung a second load out but it has just gone ominously black like it will pour down. Weatherman said it wouldn't rain until tonight so fingers crossed they are right.
