I hope you are writing a list for when DH goes to the doctor next week.
Mr Pooh has an appointment for Tuesday and I am writing a list for him.
Aw to DS2. I can imagine him dressed in his outfit. DS2 always did that or wore wellies in Summer on a hot day. And wore huge red specs with no lenses in. People often asked me what was wrong with him (because of the specs). Absolutely nothing except very eccentric even at 2!business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Pooh your DS2 sounds just like mine
. Today the big shock was not what costume he wore, but rather the fact that he didn't wear one :rotfl:. When the playgroup workers asked him where his costume was he said he "fancied being just *DS2* today"!!!
DH's Drs appointment was at lunchtime today. It was informative but not earth shattering! In point form according to our list;
• The tablets DH are on do not need monitored by way of finding out if the levels in his blood are ok. This is something that needs done with old style meds but not the ones DH takes.
•DH is on the high end of 'normal' dose of the tablets. He takes 200mg per day which is the most they give as a normal dose, although if needs be this can still be increased if he has another seizure.
•His sodium levels have returned to within the normal range now he takes 4 tablets per day. This will continue to be monitored.
•The Dr is not inclined to give DH any tablets to take when he feels panicked or that a fit may be on the cards. The reason for this is that if a seizure is going to happen it will regardless, and these types of medications are highly addictive. As DH has had a problem with addiction before (alcohol!), we all agreed it was best not to tempt him with anything else that may get him hooked!!
This afternoon after school, DS1 and DH got their hair cut in town and I bought the boys their tea from Burg3r K1ng, as is the normal bribe for haircuts. DS1 has had his cut really quite short (well short for him as he had lovely shaggy curly hair). It's taking a bit of getting used to! DS2 was rather thrilled that it wasn't his turn this time, yet he still got the bribe
. I had a slight waver where I nearly suggested a takeaway to DH for tea, but thankfully for my bank balance and waistline I resisted and made a rather yummy pasta dish instead!
I'm feeling a little glum today. Not really sure why. I have been following the news in Boston most of the day so I suppose it could be that. Hoping I will feel better after a decent sleep. Going to take advantage of the Nat1onal Trust free open weekend tomorrow so that should perk me up too.
Hope everyone has a great weekend XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Hope you have a good night's sleep! I have also been following Boston progress. Can you believe I work with someone whose friend's son was killed in recent Sandy Hook shootings. Sometimes don't you think life sucks!! Hope you cheer up soon! I also would like to thank you so much for all your support on my diary. You are a real star!!!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

I think watching the news re Boston is enough to make anyone glum.
Sounds like the right decision re panic meds, would perhaps be too easy to become reliant on them and think an attack was coming when it may not actually be.
Love DS2s thinking, sounds like a really cute funny little boy x
Happy weekend my dear friend

SAthat's awful about your colleagues friend. I think sometimes it's easy to forget that families are involved in such tragedies rather than just the victims themselves. Life sucks is an understatement!!
You are more than welcome re your diary and anything I can do to help, just shout.
They found the other brother in Boston :T:T:T. Hopefully this one will stay alive long enough to answer their enquires (though in the words of my DH, not long enough to cost the tax payer millions of dollars to keep him in prison!!).
Granny I concur re the meds. The more I think of it the more he might take them unnecessarily, like wednesday when he wasn't well and all the signs of an imminent seizure were there but it didn't happen in the end.
And yes, DS2 is a real character. It wouldn't surprise me if he was a comedian or similar when he is older. He is also a real charmer already and likes to flatter and compliment people already. He will go far.
Feeling more positive today. It helps that the sun is shining and I have already hung one load of washing out on the line!Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

I was feeling particularly melancholy yesterday bordering on glum/sadness/despair. I'd also been watching the news a lot, perhaps that's why?! Hope so anyway lol I hate feeling miserable as I then end up snapping at everyone and making them miserable (oops)
Good news on the meds for dh then? Some drs just hand anything and everything out (like one particular one I have here) and if it isn't doing much good anyway best that he doesn't take it really rather than get addicted. I was addicted to painkillers once a long time ago after a car accident. I would take them on getting up, just in case i had pain! Madness, luckily I took myself off them, Drs however were happy for me to carry on with them?!

I am pleased you are feeling better. Two days of sunshine in a row!!! When did that last happen?
Good news re Boston too. Now I have a DIL- to- be in US I am watching it all really carefully. She says the last few days have been full of evacuations because of bags left. She is in Florida.
The doctor seems to have explained everything very well re DH's meds. Sounds like a good plan.
Have fun at NT properties this weekend.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

We've had a lovely day today at Wallington Hall, which is a National Trust property about 15 minutes drive away. It's the first time I've been and I was very impressed, not least because it was free . I say free, but we've actually signed up for the year because they had a special offer on of 2 months free if you signed up today, which was a fair saving (money came out of the 'summer' pot). . It means that our summer is now somewhat sorted even if we find ourselves skint (which I'm sure we will!). As long as we have diesel and a picnic we can be out 7 days a week if we wish. Now all we need is a summer of good weather!! I've probably jinxed it by signing up and we will have snow in August :rotfl:Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

We met Mum and Grandma, MIL and her friend for coffee at lunchtime today and then came home and started painting the kitchen. First coat of white is now on and the pale green that was there before is now just a faded memory
. Hopefully we will get the second coat done in the morning and it will be gorgeous!
Tonight I've been a bit naughty and ordered us all a takeaway pizza. It was lovely just to sit down and tuck in, the kids enjoyed it for the treat it was, and I'm hoping the calories from my slices fell out during the delivery driver's journey :rotfl:.
I've also won a pair of fit flops on eb@y for £13 including delivery. I mentioned on Mrs Hinge's diary about my plantar fasciitis, and the lovely dawnybabes suggested fit flops. New they are £70+ but I've bagged myself a 'only worn once' pair for a fraction of that. Fingers crossed they help.

Hi P - hope you enjoyed pizza! You sound a lot more positive today. Your NT visit brought back happy memories of when our two were young and we used to go somewhere every Sunday. Happy days! Good luck with fit flops, I can't get on with mine they make my big toe bleed. Must have funny feet!!!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0
