Sorry Be Lucky, I havent been around much or caught up with you diary. I have had a quick skim read though. :o

It sounds as though you had a wonderful day yesterday. I love keepsakes, I have boxes and boxes in the loft, I cant throw anything the girls have made for me or Mr PG. They are the best presents in my opinion, far better than all these glam gifts !

Are you still beating DH in the weightloss stakes ? :D

Keep hold of every keepsake because they'll bring back so many lovely memories of when your children were that age.I kept every one of my sons. Its his birthday today. He would have been 27. He died 5 years ago. I have bookmarks, paper Christmas decorations that go on the tree every year no matter how tatty they've got, a pottery dish a paper mache plate, the rubbish presents he brought back when he went on holiday, and I mean that in the nicest way. Each and everyone reminds me of what he was like at that age. They bring tears but oh the memories, they are lovely. And when the kids are playing up just be thankful that they are there to complain at cos you've got them and not just memories.
  • Oh laineygirl I had no idea you had been through such heartache. I'm so sorry to hear about your son. You are right we must treasure our babies always. I hope today is not too difficult for you Xx

  • Thanks for stopping by PG, I'm still ahead of DH by 1lb in the weight loss stakes :p. It's weigh in day for us tomorrow and we are both a little nervous about it after the treats we had yesterday. Personally, I think DH will be fine but I can't get away with anything! Burnt 600 cals in the gym today in the hope of combating some of it :o.

  • I'm sorry you are gaining my lost lbs Fudgie, but if it helps I'm willing to give you them all in one go :p

DH has been weighed this morning and has lost a pound! I'm thrilled for him but that may change if I don't lose at least the same tonight :rotfl:.

Paid the last predator for this month so have done a debt total and it currently stands at £10,249.00. Pleased with how this is reducing but equally pee'd off that thanks to LTSB's stupid rates, we've paid off £360 overall to only reduce the debt by £235. Going to try extra hard to get under the £10k mark by this time next month. It's free listing again on eb@y this weekend so will endeavour to get listing and add any extra made to my debt payments. Tried to sell an old laptop to CeX today but they didn't want it because it's too old :(. Got some silver to sell also so will clean that up and take it to the jewellers this week. I'm on a mission :D

plmbl I think I am gaining your lost weight too :D

lainegirl hugs for yesterday. You have proved how important to keep it is to keep all the 'odd' things that the children make.

Too true, but unfortunately my fat class is at 5pm. I (perhaps stupidly!) don't have lunch on a Tuesday, so hopefully I still weigh similar to what I did this morning :p.

Pooh I'm sorry you are picking up my discarded lbs too. At least I can't be accused of not sharing!! Xx
