When I asked for luck I didn't mean the bad variety!!!

I've felt a bit 'dodgy' on and off Robin, but thankfully in hasn't amounted to anything (yet!).
I feel in a better mood today though, despite a tearful call from MIL who has had a Final Demand letter from HMRC (also known as THEM on mse I believe!), so I spent the morning straightening that out for her. Basically she owed some tax from her shares and bonds for last year, which her accountant was aware of and gave her a breakdown of what to pay when, but somehow this was done incorrectly and an amount was left outstanding. So far it's only cost her £3.82 in interest which is good, but they were about to whack on all kinds of charges. I can see why they are disliked by many on here! Most annoyingly though, MIL had written them a cheque yesterday and posted it, but we decided it was best to cancel that and pay online to avoid the charges. When we rang H@lif@x to cancel her cheque they charged her £5!! I find that disgusting. Apparently 'changing your mind is chargeable, but lost cheques are stopped for free'. I told MIL to 'lose' any cheques in future that need cancelling!! Money for nothing as far as I'm concerned.
Apart from that, we've just been to docs to collect a prescription for DH and had a lovely pasta salad for lunch. I'm at work tonight but it's the start of my 3 hours per week so I can live with that.

Hi HAW
Today started well. We had DS2's first "Parents Evening" type meeting at playgroup and it was fab. They are really pleased with him and I was a very proud Mummy.
DH and I then went to the gym while DS2 was still in the playgroup which again was great. I forgot to take DH's benefit confirmation letter though and his monthly fee was due. The nice receptionist let us in for free anyway and we will take the paperwork and pay again for another month next time.
Tonight DH's friend and his girlfriend came round which was good for DH as it's been a while since he saw him. Unfortunately though this was interrupted by DS2 throwing up all over the lounge floor and this has continued. His bed has been changed already and he's in his 3rd set of pjs! The only positive is that unlike this time last week when it was DS1's turn, I'm not at work tomorrow.
Today has been a NSD though XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Oh dear, more poorliness in the Lucky household. Hope he is better soon. Have I missed your weigh in this week? I always look forward to hearing how well you have done, what with the weight loss and the working out in the gym you will soon lean and fit.0

Aww PLMBL your poor kids with the sickness bug . My DS had it 2 weeks ago and he was really poorly. Thankfully they don't last long. I wish I could get it tonight if only to get rid of all the carp I have eaten today5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60
Currently CC £23,674.36 /£14,895.41/£14315.42

By end 2020 I want CC at £ 19,000.00.
By end 2021 I want CC at £10,000.000 -
Dot you must've missed the weigh in! Just half a pound off this week but that makes a nice round stone in 6 weeks
.
MiT, DS2 wasn't sick anymore, slept all night and gobbled 2 bowls of porridge this morning!! This has been a Godsend as I've been throwing up all night from 2am. I know what you mean about it helping weightloss, but I honestly wouldn't wish this on anyone (well maybe one or two but shh
!). I feel like a limp rag and I'm still in bed now! This was NOT how I thought I'd be spending my first Saturday off work!! DH has been great in stepping up to Daddy duties and has pretty much looked after the kids all day, just popping in every now and then for pointers on where things are kept or what to do next bless him Xx

Oh Darling, I'm so sorry you're not very well but WOW on losing a whole stone, that's fantastic it really is. How much do you want to lose in total? Good on DH for looking after you and the boys, has he been okay lately? Hope you feel better soon but please don't try and do too much until you feel much better xx0

Feeling almost human this morning :j Got out of bed at 4pm yesterday and was back in it by 8pm! Got up an hour ago with the boys and I ate for the first time in 36 hours. It's stayed down so far
.
DH did a good job yesterday but he did get stressed over the whole thing. When I got up he was very snappy and intolerant of everything. He was trying to sort out a problem with DS1's xbox and things like that get all-consuming for him. I was very weak and wobbly and struggled to make the boys their tea, even though I just did them a rubbish tea of turkey dinosaurs and smiley faces which is just an oven job. Even getting up from the sofa to turn the things over on the tray was a big effort, I'm ashamed to say I was a bad Mummy and didn't even make them any peas or anything to go with it as I couldn't face standing any longer
. I hadn't even realised that I hadn't fed DH and at 7pm he asked what he could make himself. I gave orders from the sofa on what to do but even that seemed stressful for him. When it was ready I said "right, you're done just serve it up" and he asked how he did that  He needed to know whether to use a plate or bowl and how to put it out because he "had forgotten". I really don't know how he'd manage on his own
.
That said, he hasn't been anywhere near as down as he was. I'm in two minds what to do about his Drs appointment on Wed.
Dot, I'm thrilled to have lost a stone but I'm a big girl and still have about 5 left to go. I'm around a size 16-18 but I'm top heavy so even at my absolute slimmest I'm a size 12. I've got bigger b00bs than Jordan but unfortunately I've got bigger everything else too at the minute :rotfl: Xx
