How dare they. I mean how very dare they! I got that email as well but it didn't have everyone's email address plastered all over it. That's not normal for TNS is it? I'm tempted to complain. ;);)

It certainly was not a normal TNS email. I am tempted to complain because the TNS sender actually put their own name at the end of it (no contact telephone number, though).

They seem to have most of the email addresses in the country! I hope they got LOADS back failed delivery!! It was ridiculous!

I had a telephone call from TNS after my reply to the email indicating I had seven example of where this was NOT and isolated incident.

I pointed out I'm registered with 40 plus companies and not ONCE has this happened to anyone else, let alone multipul times spanning years.

I also indicated that it wasn't acceptable.

She has assured me that the IT people are working on deleting the CC section of the email so only the BCC can be used.

(CC is when you copy everyone in and they can see, BCC is BLIND copy, which should have)

She said this issue will not happen in future.

We shall wait and see :-)

not being funny, but why are some of you guys annoyed about everyones emails being shown on the TNS emails? it doesn't really bother me?

Mainly because my email is private to work, friends and family only and I don't really know anyone who needs their penis enlarged!

Because most of us like to keep our identity a secret and our profession protected.

My personal details are mine to hand out if I choose. A good example was that although I know whitelabel on MSE he has never needed to send me his personal email.

However, he was the first email address on the list. Should I choose to send an email I's sure he wouldn't mind, but I wouldn't do that as he hasn't given me permission to contact him in that way.

From a company that refuses to provide their own names in emails or a telephone number to call them, I find it slightly ironic they are so lapse with the security of our personal information.

Maybe that is why Berber wants the spam!

Personally I like to limit the number of people that know that I do this work, I'm mysterious like that.

I asked TNS if I could have some visits rescheduled or cancelled. So I am sent the list of my visits... Along with those of someone else with my surname. I have his name, mobile number and a pretty good clue as to which part of Scotland he lives in too.
