  • hello all,
I've finally snagged myself a react job after 2 months or so of applying for various ones (darn newbie shopper rating.) Anyway, I was just wondering does anybody know if/how you can claim public transport fares as special expenses? Thanks :)

You can, theres an explanatory note in the instructions/on the questionnaire (Don't have either to hand and am not logging on with my cruddy connection at the moment.) explaining exactly how much you can claim.
This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.

I found them a bit of a pain to be honest, they stand around all day with people just walking past, when they get a warm body to talk to they don't let you go easily.

I actually quite enjoy doing them. They normally don't take that long, but the last time I did one, he had me there for over an hour and would just not let me go.

Try one and see how you get on. They are easy fillers if you have more visits in an area and can fit it in.

With regards to the health food shops for RE/MF, are we allowed to take the item back for an exchange? I won't be using what I bought (and no one I know uses it either) and it would be a shame for it to be thrown away.
