Had to drop a load of work the last few days, prob gonna loose a fair few quid from TNS who want receipts resubmitting. Been in newcastles freeman since wednesday. Turns out baby N.I.M needs half her left lung removing and its being done tomorrow. Bloomin petrified as she's less than 2 kilos and the first q the surgeon asked the doc was if it could wait till she's bigger. Apparently not so she's having her upper left lobe removed tomorrow at round 10am.

Have said this to TNS and I'm being told we can't hold this off for long. Can't believe it. Naturally they'll be getting dropped after this. But in fairness the guy I've been dealing with has been good. Just has his hands tied by the higher-ups.

Sorry to her that NIM. I do hope all goes well. She sounds like a little fighter :D

    Praying for you NIM.

As for TNS, im sorry but if you want to run your company like a backdoor w*ore house then they deserve everything they get.

What company has contractors working for them and say "dont' call" we have NO number come on! they answer emails slower then the royal mail delivers 2nd class mail...

yet when they have URGENT jobs they ring your mob, house phone, back to mob, then an email etc.

When they can learn to do BCC with their emails instead of CC, and when they can learn to write a constructive well thought out email I might give them a break.

Don't feel too bad you were desperate you had an emergency you had NO OTHER way of contacting them... what were you to do.. i would have done the same thing!!

Let's face it if I hire a contractor to do my roofing.... and tell them they can't call me by phone only email they will laugh in my face.

TNS can learn a thing or two from (I can't believe I am going to say this) MF... at least they have someone in over the weekend.

MS is a 7 day a week operation and its a PERSONABLE operation, you need human contact.

The next time they ring me about some shoddy grocery store that needs doing for no bonus im going to tell them its a personal number lol.

    Rant over.

I remember doing a shop for TNS a grocery store where it was on fire..I mean a pretty big fire. The allocator knew I was there and I rang them on the office phone number -- the woman lectured me for 10 min saying I should email..

I explained that I was in the middle of a fire standing outside waiting for the store to be put out and did she care how I was lol.. She honestly asked me "Did you complete the visit"....

.........................................are you kidding me? Im assuming she was a receptionist as she wouldn't put me through to the team and told me to email when I got home.

Strongly worded letter to their MD is what I wrote.

I read that the people of Dundee's confidence took a bit of a blow recently, when they heard that the people of Ethiopia were holding a rock concert for them.
Now, now, I live in Dundee and LOVE it.
We're even getting our own V&A Museum :)
