Feel guilty Dusty you were having a teenage melt down and I giggled thinking you'd managed to squeeze in a quick snooze! So so sorry. I'm hoping that we've seen the last of teenage meltdowns as our are 28 & 24 and were so worth the goings on we lived through in those feet finding years. To become the most amazing adults to be extremely proud of. Can't believe we made them. Defo my best achievement:)
So glad to hear of Eds baby steps he and his family are often in my thoughts:)

I love reading your posts too BossyMoo you always make me smile and inspire me with your strength. Loving that you are being well looked after too. You deserve it.

Catching up on here is not getting my HHC x2 in the ROD :( Arrghh

Lady Liberty - feel very honoured that you quoted my post. Whoooo an honour indeed:) The fact that you called in this week changed the feel of the thread totally. You can feeeeel the love:) Could you pop in to just say hello more often and spur us all on. Please.

Hugs to all that need them - (trundles upstairs)

Rubbish attempt at flying today so going to do HH now before DS3 gets home from cricket. List up for tomorrow as it's Apprentice night.

I wanted one for lunch but Greenbee said NO so I ate my banana and satsuma instead :A

Not a lot done here - another stressful/challenging day. I do miss having time to read, to post and to actually get things done :o

I am going to make myself do the DW, S&S and sort bags/uniform for tomorrow. I need to organise a banana for tomorrows lunch as well.

Ooh, I dunno, the odd teenage meltdown happens round here and we're both well out of our 20's:rotfl:

    Good evening :D

Not much flying since my bin frenzy this morning :o I managed to do about HHP (updating SEF - another frog) It need's a lot more work though :( I had a grizzly LO today. I only have her 1 day a week, term time, so I haven't had her the last 3 weeks (mum was on strike the week before the hols), so she was a little unsettled. i think she may be teething aswell. So I had a cling-on most of the afternoon. I don't mind - it is my job :) and she gives a good cuddle.

DH cooked dinner, & cleaned up :T He also took the dog for a walk. He is off to Cardiff for the weekend (work), but hopefully that will be his last weekend for a while, and should be back to a normal 9-5 within a couple of weeks (I won't hold my breath - i have heard that one before!) I will miss him being around during the day :( We are planning a weekend away in July (after my course has finished for the year) to Cornwall. I am researching B&B's & have sent an email to one that look's nice.

Ok. I am going to see if the WM has finished & take out a couple of bits that need to dry tonight. I will put the rest in the TD tomorrow (don't like running it overnight :o).

Bossymoo - I love your posts too. You are an inspiration. I knew of your situation, but i didn't realise it was so recent. I hope you all have a lovely holiday. Where are you going?

Ok. WM, bed.... night night all x

    Evening,

After saying we wouldn't get much done today, due to a parents evening, nearly everything has been done - I forgot DH was off today and he's done most of it for me :D

    So, today's 'done' list:
    • shredding - I will beat this frog! - I did this
    • BR vacuumed
    • BR dusted
    • Bed stripped & remade -I did this
    • S&S Kitchen
    • Kitchen floor swept - DD
    • LR floor swept - DS
    • DW been on - DD & DS
    • WM still on - me again
    • 1 bookshelf in porch refilled with books (1 more to refill)
    • Parents evening - group effort
    • 1 hr at gym - group effort
I think DH has done too much but he insists he feels fine - I keep getting wrong for asking if he's alright all the time:(

Well, going to lift washing out, put it on the airers and then shower and bed.

    Take care everyone,

    gtx

Sounds like there is some good teamwork going on in your household gtx :)

I have had a wildly unproductive day on pretty much all fronts, although I did get my expenses printed and put together, and got some personal filing done too. There is still a lot to do to clear the study, and then it will need a thorough clean as everything is incredibly dusty in there.

Curtain tiebacks arrived today, as did new filters for the dyson and a new washing line. The bathroom shelf arrived yesterday... I need to get someone to put that and the washing line up, and I need to get some hooks for some of the tiebacks. All little things, but they will make a difference once they are done.

Hopefully the spare room window and curtain pole will be done on Saturday or Monday, and I can then have a good clean in there and get the blind and curtain up.

    Aaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

    Teenage mega meltdown the sequel.

DS3 caught out lying to me, then lied some more.

Cat stole some raw meat again.

    DH out of the country.

Worst of all no wine or beer in the house - to the kettle it is.
