Not much work done yet. OH's dad is in hospital and communication is limited so I'm a bit stressed. I have, however, put away a pile of clean laundry and still can't work out why I don't have space for all the clothes that used to fit into the bedroom... (actually, I can, the hatboxes are now on the shelf I used to have jeans & fleeces on, and the summer clothes have all come out of the blanket chest which has bedding in... I really need to move them to make space for woolly stuff).

Need to go to the post office to sign for something that arrived when I was out yesterday and get some cash, then return some unwanted medication to the pharmacy. Bet it starts raining again...

Sounds like we are in the same club :( have you had a look at Stormybay's thread on here. It's another place of help and support that has really helped me.

I have seen the thread, thank you! I think it's a little quiet at the mo but makes for encouraging reading. I am determined to make a life for me and the kiddies, you never know how long you've got x

    Afternoon all

Rainy here, no flying yet. Off for a HHC on my dailies first whilst making a cuppa then need to bake a cake/sort out dinner before getting back to the list.

Since my last post i've gone and got coal so i can light the fire later, filled car up and done the weeding in the polytunnel. Just grabbing a sandwich and then back to the bedroom....
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

im not sure of your exact ages or circumstances but i can only imagine how strong you have to be coping with everything life throws your way as well as running a home rasing and supporting children as well as coping with your own grief.
my mil is by no means a young widow she is 83 and lost my fil almost 2 years ago but ive been going to the drs with her regularly since she was bereved so i listen to what the dr says.
the dr is a strong advocate of the fact their are 7 stages to grief no one goes through them in the same time or order and what is right for one person wont help another. mil has been offered councilling but didnt want it. the dr gives her tablets for 'her mood' i think the are mild antidepressants i wouldnt recommend them to anyone but they do seem to be helping her.
one thing i have noticed is that she cant talk about fil and very rarely comes to the cemetery with us. i think she almost manages to convince herself if she doesnt talk about what happened and doesnt 'visit' she can alomst pretend its not happened which cant help in the long term. do you recieve any help im not being nosy and you dont have to answer me at all i think im rambling/thinking out loud and hope i dont upset anyone with this post but im just wanting to check you are getting help with emotional as well as physical day to day things if its available to you
sending hugs to everyone who needs one
