Morning all. I won't be doing the lists today as day off with DH in York later (all indoor stuff due to weather). 2nd lot of washing in machine, just catching up on emails/paperwork/making appts. Will then put vacuum cleaner round living room. Dog walk will have to wait till later if it dries up. In answer to an earlier question, my dogs just don't like the rain, the oldest one won't even go in the garden for a few seconds if its raining! Have a great day everyone.

:hello: to you and DD :D Miss A is waving back. We are fine thanks. I haven't booked anything for June (wonder if it's too late) but I would like to go to Chirk as that is a great site and I hail from those parts.
Ooh I dont know that one, I'll have a look

I'll let you know the name of the site later ;) (when I remember!)

I had a little look into my other forum again today, it's specifically for us young widows. Am I allowed to say I felt even more depressed? I think it will do me good to have a week off from that, although the support is wonderful. But some of the tales of woe a just too much to bear. Feel horrible just thinking it, as I know there are no rules to grief, and I have my bad days too, but sometimes it's a little lift to hear something positive.

Sounds like we are in the same club :( have you had a look at Stormybay's thread on here. It's another place of help and support that has really helped me.

Right I am off out with my friend, have a good day all x

OK, only the me time left - does studying count?! I also need to go for a run so that is 2 me things that I will be doing today :D

As well as finishing the list I also sorted the floordrobe (:o), fetched washing down from both bathrooms, put a load of washing on, did some folding of dried washing and put already ironed things into appropriate bedrooms for everyone to put away when they get home from school.

Back to my books now, I got one project finished yesterday but have an essay due in 8 days so best get on with it :)

Just stopping for some breakfast, i have our bedroom floor cleared and all the stuff for the attic is on our bed. Also tidied DD bedroom, mind you it's never really too bad. One tv unit in there which i need to put on gumtree today. So far i've filled 3 bags of rubbish.

WM on third load so far today. livingroom floor cleared, dw been emptied and refilled, dry clothes all folded and put in utility room.

Right some breakkie and then i'll carry on. :D
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

DW on. Bedroom and bathroom windows open to air the rooms. Showered, breakfasted and dressed. And I have finally got my laptop upstairs in the study again. I'm not sure it'll mean I get anymore work done, but it might mean I slowly get the study sorted out as it will annoy me :D

Bossymoo have a (((HUG))). AnW's Mum have a (((HUG))) too, while you're here.

I know what you mean, Bossy; I joined a lupus support site when I was first diagnosed, and it was more depressing than anything (proper whinge-fest at times - I felt that some of them were in competition to see who'd got the worst hair loss, the worst mouth ulcers, ulcers in the worst places:eek: etc, etc, yada yada yada:D). Anyways, in the end, they made it clear they had no place for Pagans in their ranks, so I stopped visiting.:o

There's a lot of support and common sense to be had on this thread, and for that, I thank you all!

    Flying-wise - it's Bathroom Day in the Wolf's Lair, so I'll be bog-diving:eek: when I've posted this.:D

  • Am doing well on the me-time today! So far coffee and reading in bed until (whispers) 10 o'clock.

Am working on the bedroom and have changed the bedclothes, all freshly ironed, but not as clean as I would like - time to change detergent?
