    Mumto5 Good luck for today.
    Dusty big big hugs.

I'm in a strange mood today, i have a gut feeling about something and it's making me very uneasy.

Anyways i suppose i should make a start...
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

No bathrooms for me today as they were done on Tuesday, so wm on for third time already, dining table covered in holiday tat.

Enjoyed having my nails done yesterday, and eyebrow decluttering was a bit (eek!), but a necessity, lol.

Have packed handluggage, and DS has got his little Thomas pull along packed with toys haha bless him

DS clothes are all on the table, I figured I'd put a bit of each of all of ours in each case, just so if one case goes missing we'll none of us be stuck.

What else do you guys take for a self catering holiday? I've got a tea towel, dishcloth, kiddy cutlery etc. We're only going to Majorca so not in the back of beyond. My mum who will in theory be in the next apartment is taking washing up liquid and dettol wipes. I will probably put a couple of plastic plates and bowls too as we are a bit accident prone.

Is it mad that I'm going to pack the potty, lol?

dusty hope the stroppy teenager grows out of it soon been there done that got the worn down mum trophy to prove it. eldest of my five is 25 now and lovely rings all the time for advice and daft chats and ends every phone call with "love you" so there is light at the end of the tunnel. its a shame they dont do the citronella collars for them after reading sagaris post it certainly sounds tempting to try one, younngest still hasnt reached teens so im not over it yet.
Vanilla its horrible when you get those 'gut feelings' isnt it and even worse when you have been proved right with them in the past. i hope whatever it is isnt as bad as you feel it will be.

did a bit of mending while ironing as a couple of Ds hems wee down on his school trousers so i used iron on bonbing tape to quick fix instead of handsewing. found a couple of DH work trousers that need sewing so ill tackle those later as my mending job

[STRIKE]HHPaperwork - check your utility bills, if you are in credit at this time of year you may be able to get your DD reduced (I did). Start putting bits together for your tax return. Check travel insurance and passports are in date if you are going away (have a good trip Bossymoo). Are you opening an ISA this year[/STRIKE]?

natty Thanks for the info, I didn't know about the new red logbooks. I need mine for the garage as car is to be scrapped, it's old and needs work costing more than its value just to get back on the road and in my continuing unemployed state I can't afford to run it any more. STILL can't find it and looked online to see it is £25 for a duplicate  so I'll see if the garage can scrap it without. I should be a few shekels up after I've paid what I owe them out of the scrap price, to be put in the taxi fund for emergencies. We can walk to all necessary places (school, shops, library, post office, cash points, [STRIKE]off licence[/STRIKE]) and have very good train links so that's the way it will be now.

Bossymoo - loo roll?? And calpol/painkillers? Have a fab time :p

mumto5 you are at this moment wowing your future employers :) wishing you all the very best

neveah I hope your first day back goes smoothly x

dusty (((HUGS)) I love MrsMP's idea of citronella collars for unruly teens - please put me down for 2!!

Right, I have a bathroom to clean!! Back later.

Found some fabulous boots for Tiddles.. bit pricey but if they work for her I will be buying the next 5 sizes! I got her some for now too.. red patent kickers.. they aren't as well made as they used to be so I don't hold out much hope for them lasting too long but she has trashed her current pair of boots.

We have the next podiatry appointments through and I want an orthitics appt to sort out Tiddles insoles.. she has a raise and twist on them to counter the twisted leg bones and hypermobile ankles.

Hazel whizzed back to vet this morning and she demanded the vet show her love .. she is so much better all her scabbiness has cleared up now :D We are trying her off the steroids see how she goes.

Guess I should go put some washing in and feed the DW!.. and dress the 2 teeny pinks

Just a little bit left to do now - I will do the ironing when children are back from school so that leaves the rest of the day for washing and studying :)

Now stop being so silly - you are one very inspirational lady and as necessary as any of our list makers. Posting, however infrequently, makes our day,

    with much love,

You are an inspiration and you show incredible courage in the way you face every day. I would be happy if Iwas half as amazing as you are so dont think you dont add anything here because you most certainly do. As does our other incredible friend Toots who we all love an miss too. You are both to us LEGENDS! With much love Kaz xxx
I echo these ^ and the other comments about Lady Liberty, Toots, and AnWs.

    (note to self p9)

Valli is VERY impressed with herself as she got a headstart on the 'clean the house in a day list' and did the living room last night and never even switched the PC on. It's on now because I have items finishing on fleabay today:D and bids. Listing for 10 days is all very well but they watch for a week or more before they bid.
(Listings carefully timed to finish Wednesdays/Thursday so that I can post.)

I think I've done reasonably OK today, considering my hands are so stiff; I've had to dig out the neoprene gloves (I tore off a sheet of loo paper and just doing that made me go "ouch",:( so realised the gloves were needed).

Anyways, I've done both the bedroom and the spare room, as we'll (theoretically) be out all day tomorrow, so my lists are done for the week.:T

I've also got an A-frame groaning with wet washing over the bath; one load of Mr LW's stuff, one of mine (goes on a more delicate wash) and one top that had to be done by hand. However.... the laundry bin is empty:T (for now) save for a couple of hankies and a couple of cleaning rags that need a wash through.

Ooh, coffee - cheers, Valli *helps self to a :coffee: *
